Excellent hotel, very welcoming and helpful staff always available and very kind and qualified. They were able to direct us in giving advice on how to move and find typical attractions of Catania. Hotel located a stone's throw from the center of Catania. Advised
Bad - B&B and Design
4/557 Reviews
Catania City Center
Cute rooms, great location, easy access in and out, right near the main bus station so it was easy to get to the airport. Good air conditioning. We stayed here two different times and the second room had a bathroom that was private but outside of the room (we had the only key - but inconvenient and very hot in the bathroom). If you hoped for a breakfast buffet with hot items, you would be very disappointed - only yogurt and a coffee/tea machine and pre-packaged crisp bread and pastry in the room. However - you could go to the 24 hour place across the street for simple food items. The host was available - personable and helpful.
Elephant's Smile B&B
4/512 Reviews
Catania City Center
The B&B is located in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and balconies. The hosts are lovely; kind and helpful! They helped is out when we were in a difficult situation. We had booked another B&B in the same building but when arriving in the evening they couldnt accomodate us. The hosts of Elephant smile came to our ”rescue” and arranged for us to stay at their B&B. We are so grateful for that, and the fact that the B&B turned out to be such a lovely place made it even better. The price is also very reasonable. If you stay in Catania we really recommend this place!
Habitat Boutique Hotel
4.4/568 Reviews
Catania City Center
Habitat is a very comfortable & architecturally attractive hotel with mid-century modern décor. Its location on a lovely, quiet street is ideal. Museo Diocesano (great view of Etna & the city from its roof) is 8-minutes away by foot. The hotel’s interior patio is a pleasant place to sit & relax. Raffaele at the front desk was professional, friendly & a big help to us re local suggestions & researching transportation options to our next destination. The breakfast buffet is a special feature of Habitat. It’s offered in a beautiful & bright space that converts to a restaurant at night. Extremely fresh farm-to-table offerings - - all of the highest quality - - impressive even for food-serious Sicily. The coffee is made-to-order (not automatic machine) & the breakfast staff is pleasant & attentive. Manuela is the talented chef who creates their amazing pastries. A very nice hotel experience. We’ll definitely plan to stay here on our next visit to Catania.
Liodoro Catania B&B
4.5/517 Reviews
Catania City Center
Good position in a sideway that leads to the road that leads straight to Duomo. The B&B is located in a historic palace (obviously the structure is old, this is to be taken into account) on the second floor, with the entry made with a numerical keyboard thanks to the code given after check-in. The spacious room is very comfortable and the room is very spacious, with the air conditioner that saved us from the boiling of Catania. Breakfast can be held in a bar with a very nice environment, just a few steps from the B&B. The strength of this structure is however the gentleness and availability of the owners, especially Serena, who has a very good guest care aware and especially offering very pleasant, curiosous and attractive experiences to make the visit of Catania and neighbouring areas really suggestive! I suggest a sunscreen on the panoramic terrace that is on the square and Etna. B&B conventions with other facilities and services are very interesting and the network of contacts that have created managers is really winner. Thank you for the great experience you have made us live!
