Excellent, my wife and I stayed for two days, and we were welcomed by Melina and her husband Luigi, two affable, polite and very friendly people. They gave us detailed instructions which we followed to the letter to let us taste the local street food, starting from the horse meat sandwich to the granitas, fish restaurants, etc etc.... all spot on. There are four rooms, all inspired by 19th century Sicilian furnishings, ours was called Donna Fernanda, small but well-kept, small bathroom with large shower cubicle, small balcony etc... Breakfast is served on the veranda on the small terrace and is plentiful and there's everything, Melina and her husband Luigi also prepare omelettes, truly excellent and served with quality products. The structure is clean and well maintained internally, the exterior of the building leaves something to be desired but it is located a few meters from Castello Ursino and close to the Duomo, and a strategic place to visit Catania. We will certainly return and I highly recommend the facility to everyone.

Don't be influenced by appearances, not nice to look at from the outside but great inside. Rooms are large and clean, but be careful, one of the rooms only has a bathroom in the hallway, but that's OK as it's for sole use. Owners are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good and plentiful. Location is extremely good, just a short walk to the Palazza Elefanti and the nightlife. Would go back anytime
