The hotel is near the bus station and train station and walkable to the main areas in the city. Maybe because of its proximity to the train station, the area between the train station and the hotel feels a tad bit dodgy especially at night.
There happen to be a large market a block away from the hotel on a Thursday we were there. Had quite a nice morning walk there.
The hotel itself is new and very clean. It has a sleek elegant design yet still maintain some parts of the original design. We had a very pleasant stay there.
Many parking lots available right in front of the hotel.
We enjoyed the breakfast, the spread is limited but the variety is sufficient for us.

ホテルでてすぐの道路の立地はあまりよくなさそうでした。夜は危ないです。
出て少し歩いたところにマーケットがあります。野菜などを安く買えます。
ホテルのエレベーターはとてもボロく閉じ込められるんじゃないかと思いながら使っていました。
シャワールームは大きめです。

We were on inspiring vacations so called premium tour of southern Italy We stayed in this hotel one night,the air conditioning was broken told it couldn’t be fixed as a weekend,asked for a fan which we got but was so hot ,no kettle etc,no water in the room,no telephone Asked for ice sorry don’t have any then we were delivered some ice blocks all plastic and coloured In a bad area of Catania We wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

Not really a boutique hotel, but generally OK. What has led to the one start rating is that there was no hot water (which I would think is an essential basic for a hotel). We enquired about it in the afternoon (nothing was mentioned on check in) and were told they were working on the boiler. Unfortunately there was still no water in the evening and when we again enquired after dinner there seemed to be very little interest in this and indeed there was still no hot water on the next day. Our request for a partial refund was refused and nothing was offered in return.

We went in a group of 16 elderly friends. The hotel made arrangements for our visit very easy. The staff were very welcoming. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, with hot water. The buffet breakfasts were very good with abundant choice. The location is 10 minutes' walk from the station and 15-20 from the centre of the city. The building is well restored but the environs are a bit run-down. We warmly recommend the hotel to other visitors.

Checked in on a Sunday, so the restaurant was closed. And the bar was closed. And the piano terrace was closed. The room had no tea and coffee making facilities so we asked the duty manager if he could make us 2 cups of tea. He said he couldn't. The double bed, requested, was 2 singles pushed together. The view, requested, was of a desolate temporary car park surrounded by piles of rubbish. And there are piles of rubbish all over the streets of Catania, except the main tourist spots. Breakfast was perfunctory. Paid around €100 to stay one night.

An excellent hotel: beautifully presented room, excellent choice for breakfast and very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very comfortable: everything worked. The location isn't the prettiest in Catania but the historic centre is just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay: I would come back.
