The outstanding help and cordiality of the staff, especially Marit who went out of her way to try and solve our problem of intermittent WIFI which was not only annoying but also made it difficult for us to do any work we had brought with us, is what deserves the four star rating. The room was very clean and relatively recently refurbished and beds very comfortable. The breakfast consisted of ample cold cuts, fruit and sweet pastries with coffee, tea and juices available. My rating of four star is only given for the bad WiFi experience we had for which we had to purchase an extender as the landlord insisted that there was no problem. If we were given a different room the issue might not have been present, so I suggest you indicate you are not to be given the room, BLOOM.

We stayed one night in the Suite Inn in 2018 and enjoyed our visit so much that when we returned to Catania for a three night stay this year (2022) we knew that we could do no better than return to the same B&B. The Suite Inn is well located for visiting many of the places of interest in the city and although it is on the main road there was no noise at night thanks to the sound-proof shutters. Our room (Big Bang) was a good size with enough wardrobe space and drawers. The bathroom was also a good size with room for all our bits and pieces. Breakfast was a good version of the standard Italian fare with plenty to choose from. Our only criticism would be the lighting in the room. It was so low that we sometimes had to use a torch. However, we were told that a major refurbishment will be done over the winter and so that problem should be addressed. The staff could not be more helpful and we would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Catania.

We spent a night here only with my mom and my little son and next time will definitely book here again. Friday evening, not a single noise even though it’s close to the piazza. There is a bus stop right next to the entrance but the main street is also very close by foot. The gentleman who welcomed us was very helpful and polite, also speaks English which is quite rare in Catania. The room was clean, bed was comfy and we also had a little terrace. Totally recommend it!

In the heart of Catania, everything is close and easy to find. Peaceful and quiet place, isolated from noise. Very lovely and friendly staff. Apartment, very clean, fresh and fragrant. Every detail in its place. We felt at home. Recommended for everyone. Thanks

So, in terms of location we are in the centre, rooms all renovated, nothing to say but in a let's say historic building.... A room with breakfast for 100 euros doesn't seem like a gift to me for one person given that it's a baby and has practically no services. Breakfast.... Nothing fresh, all packaged, cured meats removed from the trays.... Time that may be fine if one is on holiday but from 8am if one has to go to the office...... And we arrive at the really difficult point : the garage, 15 euros per night, also not free here but the worst thing is the whole process of accessing the garage: you leave the car in the middle of the busy road, get out, open the gate, remove the padlock from the gate or open it, bring the car inside. car, close the gate, open the door and open the garage, put the car in and close. To go up the elevator you have to enter a code on the keypad twice. To get to the room there are three keypads where you can enter a code.....and then here is a historic building, dark stairs, maybe no other occupied rooms.... I suggest to rename the structure to Escape Room.

Overall the structure is not bad and the location certainly makes it a lot easier as it is a few steps from Piazza del Duomo, a decent breakfast where there was a bit of everything and friendly staff. However, there are some things that we did not like and which lower the rating of the structure itself. 1. When giving a room with a bathroom suitable for disabled people, customers must be warned 2. There was a bad smell in the bathroom, probably coming from the drains... there was even a blunderbuss under the sink which made a lot of noise when the water from any sanitary fixture was turned on... probably a pump. 3. The bed was not a double bed but two beds pushed together with their mattresses pushed together... rather uncomfortable. 4. We can understand the security but 3/4 codes to get to the room are a bit excessive.... code for the main gate, code for the elevator l, code for the door and code to enter the room, that's it regarding the room the keypad didn't work and we always used the key, until while we were resting without having been notified by the reception they showed up at the room with a technician to fix the problem... but according to you these things are done while the guests are there???...also because it wasn't a problem that could be solved in a minute! For the rest... I would say an average B&B without infamy and without praise!

This is an extremely well located establishment. Even if the first impression is not very inviting, the private elevator takes us to a perfectly renovated and soundproofed part of the building. We sleep very well there and access to all the points to see in the center of Palermo is easy. foot.The bus to the airport passes at the foot of the establishment. Hearty breakfast. Excellent value.
