HELL HOLE! Do not stay here. Our family of 4 moved out after one miserable night at this horrible hotel. The owners refuse to refund our money for the other 2 nights we cancelled. The hotel appears under construction and unfinished. The room was hot with broken air conditioning. The room was so noisy from street traffic, bars, garbage collection we didn’t sleep at all. The toilet was filthy and broken. The shower too. The TV didn’t work at all. Unresponsive to my requests for refund for nights we didn’t utilize. I am posting on every review site about this WORST HOTEL EVER

The Hotel is totally dirty and a scam, we reserved two rooms , one of them was by the side of a restaurant that is open till 3 Am and is a lot of noise , you can’t sleep from the noise, also the air conditioner didn’t work so it was like a sauna inside the room ,the toilet totally rusty. The paint of the walls was all on the floors. Definitely not recommending this Hotel , compliment for the receptionist girl, who was wonderful. Written by the owner of a Travel Agency !

A friend and I stayed this hotel for one night during a mid-holiday trip to Catania. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was accommodating and helpful when it comes to local attractions/restaurants. The room was of good size and had a good Italian style and feel to it. The air con could have been a bit stronger and more powerful but it wasn’t excessively hot in the room at night. Unfortunately, our room overlooked a busy street full of bars which played loud music till the early hours. However, this isn’t a poor reflection of the hotel, more circumstantial to its city centre location. In the morning, a small offering of breakfast is provided. This consorts of yoghurt, croissants, cereal, juices and hot drinks. The breakfast staff were also friendly and accommodating. The hotel also didn’t hesitate to confront two guests who had a few too many to drink the night before and had been noisy. 2 Spanish males were berated and confronted in front of everyone at breakfast regarding there behaviour and they were told they would be given a fine or similar. I thought this was a fair example of the hotel’s enforcement and it showed they were caring of fellow guests. Overall, a very good stay in a small city centre hotel.

We checked in for a one night stay. We initially found it hard to locate as there was little signage and the entrance is through a large locked doorway which has a intercom system to reception, but this wasn’t obvious. The location was very good, approx 20 min walk from the train station and close to popular spots such as the market, cathedral and GrecoRoman theatre. Unfortunately the hotel backs onto a street/ yard with bars which played music until 1 am. The rooms were vintage but this gave them a charming Italian feel. Room and bathroom, although unusual layout due to nature of building were spacious. Unfortunately i didn’t get the best nights sleep due to the noise outside and the bed wasn’t comfy. Breakfast was minimal but as was included in the price a crossiant, yogurt, cereal and coffee was satisfactory. Overall would stay for 1/2 nights and was great for us who were visiting the city and mt Etna for 2 days 1 night.

Very nice People working here, they helped us with finding local hotspots and offered us a place to change while our transfer to the airport was quite late. Room was nice and the location perfect. Would reccommend if you want to stay in the centre of catania.

I stayed in this structure that dares to call itself a "hotel" with a group of work colleagues. Upon our arrival we found a group of other unfortunate customers at reception who were complaining about the malfunctioning of the lock on their room and in a whisper, seeing us with our luggage, they warned us of the disappointing state of the rooms. The journey into the terrible world begins as soon as I cross the door of my room: flayed walls full of mold and efflorescence everywhere, even on the wall of the bed; dirty curtains, also stained and smelling of mold; bathroom (a hovel) without a window and lacking mechanical ventilation (mandatory in the absence of a window); taps that have never had the pleasure of knowing a cloth and a detergent; rusty and corroded shower head; towel warmer full of dust with the "open and close" system sticker of a pack of tissues on it; stained floors; bedspread stained in several places; very dirty and holey "decorative" pillows, placed on pillows; inefficient fixtures from all points of view. The night passes...when we arrive in the morning we go down to have breakfast at the bar (same management as the hotel), overall discreet, until I see the next table "cleaned" with a cloth...the crumbs from the table were pushed to ground and not collected, then the same cloth was passed over the chairs! A real mix of horror. I strongly advise owners to gather whatever dignity they have left and take matters into their own hands... or to change jobs!

In Catania for the April 25th long weekend with family. Book 2 rooms. It is impossible to understand how it can be defined as a hotel and what's more, 3 stars. Very dirty rooms, a maid hasn't come by for at least 1 month. The dust there can be removed with a finger. Dirty and holey/burnt sheets, towels only present in one of your rooms. Last but not least: rubbish bins inside the structure. Just one piece of advice. AVOID

I slept in an old-fashioned room that was as noisy as if I were sleeping on a nightclub bench. Horrible !! And the windows filtered out no noise. I don't recommend it to anyone.
