The room isn’t huge but it makes do.
But I cannot understand why there’s never a plug beside the bed. People need to charge their phones.
The bathroom is ok but there is nothing to place the toiletries in the shower, so you’re forced to either bend over in a very small space either open the shower multiple times and make a mess.
The main issue is the breakfast. It’s the land of desolation and it’s really a pity.
The croissants and the brioches are good, but regardless of the time of your arrival it’s never refurnished.
No marmalades, 3 butters, 2 Nutellas, only one typeof cereal, no milk.
Everything is missing, it seems raided.
Why pay for an hotel breakfast if there’s less food that at home or any café?
It could happen once, not constantly.

Top Service. Super friendly staff, always ready for us and our questions. Thinking along with you. Breakfast was also delicious. Location is near the center, everything is within walking distance. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed a week in this tiny hotel. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything in downtown Catania. The rooms were very well taken care of. I particularly liked the central air conditioning (better than a window mounted loud unit). This helped maintain a very comfortable temperature to beat the extremely hot Catania summer. Combined with the ability to completely darken the room this made it possible to rest anytime during the day or night. The breakfast provided was just okay with capuchino coffee as well as pastries and yogurt. My sister needed gluten free food and they provided some gluten free bread and pastries as well as lactose free milk and yogurt. We bought fruit at the huge outdoor market and supplemented the breakfast with delicious fresh fruit.

Modern hotel in a convenient and central location, served by a stop of the airport shuttle bus. It is small (fully transparent name: though, why do rooms have a 3-digit number if there are only 8 ?) and sort of minimalistic, but clean, functional and quiet. Some easy improvements could make a big difference, such as a little tray in the shower (I had to keep the soap on the floor) and a towel hook near the wash basin (I had to use the bidet to hold the hand towel). There is a tiny terrace for the ground floor rooms, while upstairs there are more pleasant little balconies for each room. There is a little enclosed area available for car parking, not sure if available to guests. The staff was cordial and helpful. I found the price commensurate with its characteristics. I would go back, but ensure I have a room upstairs.

L’apparenza (esterna) inganna. Personale cortese, educato e disponibile (quando presente). Oltre a questo si salva solo la posizione comoda al centro. Decadente nonostante si dica recentemente ristrutturato. Mi piacerebbe capire come vengono assegnate le stelle qui a Catania, mah. Colazione con prodotti di scarsa qualità, in una terrazza coperta che potrebbe essere davvero deliziosa, se non pessimamente conservata (botole aperte sul soffitto, assi di legno fuori dalla portafinestra, ecc). Pulizia generale discreta ma decisamente mal tenuto, nel bagno ciambella del water rotta, doccia con incrostazioni orribili e odore di fogna costante, pessima insonorizzazione della camera, pareti con piccoli buchi e macchie, terrazzino esterno sporco, gestione dell’illuminazione difficile con led lampeggiante (!!!), ecc. Peccato, avrebbe ottime potenzialità. Immeritate le 4 stelle.
