This is a tricky one.
When you book better contact with the hotel in advance or will have some minor setbacks for checking in, since you need to get a hold of the lobby personnel to gain access to the main buidling.
The staff was super friendly, provided great recommendations on what to see, what to do and very polite.
The location is superb since you can see most of the area by just walking.
At first glance didn’t seem like it would be a good option, since the area and the main building are a bit old… but turned out to be way better than the expectations.

Overall the hotel is in a great location, has great service/super nice and helpful staff, and clean and new rooms. The hotel is in a residential building and it's probably an old house converted to what Italians refer to B&B (it's a bit of a misnomer since there is no breakfast), but the remodeling was done very well and probably recently. We had a great time and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended for families and couples.

Wonderful stay! The room was just like the pics and the staff was awesome! We asked for some recommendations to dinner and they not only offered them on the spot but a few moments later we received a text with the info. The location was also excellent, only 3 or 4 short blocks from the Cathedral and main road in Catania city center, and a 15 min ride to the airport. I would like to warn folks that once you enter the building, it looks super sketchy, but fear not, as the actual section where Palazzo Sisto is wonderful and fully renovated. Ciao!

The staff are very welcoming and professional. They are proactive making suggestions to make sure you have the best time and happy to store your luggage before check in and after checkout. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem. Right down the street from the Duomo. Rooms are cute and bed very comfortable. The real gem is Valeria who is in reception. She was so helpful, really the best. If you are looking for a very reasonable boutique hotel in Catania, this is where to stay!

As mentioned in so previous reviews the receptionist couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. The building itself is deceiving but once you enter the apartments via an ancient courtyard and then thankfully a lift to the top floor and the apartments it’s a different world - very contemporary and welcoming. I was in a former loft space and the room was, again modern with air conditioning and electric skylight windows .There’s a mini bar but no coffee making facility though there is a machine in the reception area and water too. The small bathroom is also nicely furnished and like the rest of the place very clean. Unfortunately breakfast is no longer offered. Location is very good but value for money was, at the time of my stay not good at all and I returned to a hotel for my remaining weeks in Catania.
