The owner and staff were friendly, and the location was a bit far from Gaetba Town, but that actually turned out to be an advantage. I walked every day along the back road of the hotel to see how people live while walking through the neighborhood where the school and public institutions are located, and walked around the island's famous attractions on the main road in front of the hotel. We rested comfortably for two weeks in a spacious twin room with a good view. We were satisfied. The meals were simple bread or noodles, and we ate them without fail for two weeks. However, after checking into the room, there was no lock inside the room. I don't know if the other rooms were the same, but I hope this will be fixed soon. For us, it was the best value for money hotel.

Camera grande e spaziosa, letto comodissimo. Personale molto gentile ed ospitale, dovrebbero però mettere a disposizione degli ospiti un servizio di navetta gratuito con una time-table così da permettere agli ospiti di raggiungere comodamente il centro più importante dell’isola perché è un po’ isolato

Alles super. Sehr nettes Personal :) die Lage ist auch in Ordnung. Zum Strand braucht man allerdings einen Roller. Diese werden auch vor Ort vermietet.

Staying at Ecorest is a good choice. Despite the cold weather duringour , we spent two wonderful nights simply because of the service and the property. The beds were large and comfy and provided a good nights rest. All toiletries and linen were readily available. The property is well maintained and spotless. The owner and the hostess, Anne were absolutely the best! Thank you and we will definitely stay at Ecorest when we return to Cat Ba. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you, especially Annie. The owner even ran us into town one evening. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The only one thing I’d change is to have a bedside light as the main lighting was a bit harsh at nighttime. A small thumb but not enough to spoil our experience.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and caring. Made me feel very great and welcomed. The centre with cafes and restaurants is in a walkable distance. To reach the national park takes some arrangements to find a transport to get there as buses go very seldom. but the receptionist was willing to help out. A room was comfy. breakfast had to be chosen from a menu but it was tasty.

The pillows were delightfully fluffy. The service was friendly and helpful, make you feel at home and help you anyway you need! To make your stay as comfortable as possible. It’s a convenient location just outside of the main town area. A comfy bed, and a lovely little pool to splash in, right next to the mountain.
