Nice valley view. Hotel located on a hill overlooking the valley. Nice upscale, suprisingly priced. Hidden gem in small town. We did not use the pool but it over looked the valley as well. There is an event venue at location as well.

The view was especially nice. The pool was a great place to relax. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It's nice to be greeted in the morning by a person with such a positive outlook on life!!!

I have stayed at this property multiple times. The staff is super friendly and wanting to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are very clean with plenty of space. It’s nice to have a balcony to set out on after a long day on the road! I would rate this hotel a five star!!

Very comfortable and spacious room for one night. Quiet spot up on a hill with a lovely view. We enjoyed the coffee supplied.

We basically just slept here. Had hoped to spend a bit less time at the wedding reception and a bit more time at this property. There was a burned out light in the entry hall and a Yellow Jacket nest on the balcony, which are little details I don’t want to encounter. Otherwise the rooms are nice, roomy & updated with particularly nice bathrooms.

This place was very beautiful. The room was definitely very nice. I love the country chic feel it had. The people who work there were very kind. I came across three different people the three days that we were there and each of them were all helpful or happy we were in town for my brother-in-law‘s wedding and we just had a good time in this cute town of Castroville.

I was disappointed that the beautiful amenities were unused, no restaurant which I was not told was closed. The place has so much potential and beauty but is not being used, sad. Castroville has a bright future and Hillside boutique should be taking advantage.

The room wass beautiful and the check-in/ out customer service was great. However the grounds were somewhat different than the pictures on the website. Pool was dirty and the pool cushions were strewn about. There was a storm the night before. Possible that maintenance was too busy to attend to the pool area.
