Hotel is modern. Has one handicapped room. No air conditioning. Great water pressure on shower. Firm bed. Great big flat-screen TV. OK Breakfast. Free parking. Pool was a bit cloudy, thought it might need some more chemicals so we stayed out... Road noise at night is horrible. Need screens on windows to keep bugs out.

The hotel complies but has an unusual point: in 2023 it does not have air conditioning in the rooms!!!!!!! I agree that it wasn't normally hot in Castro, but today that changed and there are many days when it is very hot and it only has one window. Since it may be possible that it doesn't have real air conditioning, I had a terrible night's sleep and you can't leave the window open since it's right next to the highway with a horrible noise, this leaves the score much lower than it should be.

I booked a room via the website and when I arrived they couldn't find the reservation, the room they assigned me and we occupied had low heating but it could be regulated, in general clean and tidy but with the windows quite dirty on the outside. The annoying thing was that while we were resting, people opened the room door who said they had been assigned the same room. There was no reception call or explanation. Later I expressed my annoyance at reception and they seemed surprised but uninterested in the issue. I asked to speak to a manager but he was not available. The next day before breakfast I asked for the same thing and they told me that it would be after breakfast. Something that didn't happen either, we had breakfast within the stipulated time and there was no fruit, glasses or sweetener. When I returned to the room my access cards were blocked. In short, it was not a pleasant or quiet stay. We neither rest nor feel safe or welcomed.

Good quality-price ratio. It is a hotel without luxuries, but it has everything for a good stay, spacious and comfortable rooms, good breakfast (the delicious kuchen), good service in general, everything is like new. The restaurant food is also good. It has a heated pool (I didn't use it). It is at the north entrance to Castro. At reception there is a small corner to buy drinks and snacks (there are none in the room, only the empty minibar)
