We loved our stay at Locanda del Feudo. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at this quaint hotel in December 2024. We had two suites and it worked will as everyone had their own bed. The staff was super helpful before and during the trip; finding us a place for lunch on the way there, arranging a Parmesan tour, a balsamic vinegar tour and serving two wonderful dinners to us in their restaurant. We ate tons of food when in Italy and the meal at this little inn is the one everyone in the family brings up as the best. The town was fun to explore and we enjoyed the proximity to other great things to do (Modena, Maranello, etc). I highly recommend Locanda del Feudo!

Perfect place to stay in the charming village of Castelvetro. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, parking was a short walk away, and the food at the restaurant was amazing - one of the best dinners we had in Italy. The staff were also terrific, especially Andrea, who gave us great advice on a nearby hiking trail, great food and wine recommendations during dinner, and when we told him the next stop on our trip was Bologna he gave us a recommendation for one of his favourite restaurants there and it did not disappoint. We had debated about staying the weekend here or in Modena and are so glad we chose here, it's really a great base for exploring the region, with wineries, balsamic producers, and the Ferrari museums all within easy driving distance.

Close by parking, warm welcome + help in arranging Lambrusco tour, nice room, excellent dinner and wine matching (for a price), good breakfast, and the nicest hosts-brothers. What else one needs (except more time)? Nothing. Will we return? Of course!

We stayed for 2 nights, well-kept and comfortable room. Rich, abundant and refined breakfast. The staff was attentive to every need and very kind. Everything is immersed in a characteristic village, an experience to repeat!

A very well-kept place in a charming and quiet village, really worth trying both as a hotel and as a restaurant. It offers tailor-made services to feel pampered such as breakfast (varied and abundant) in the room and everyone is very attentive and kind. The restaurant is excellent, try the tortellini in capon broth or with parmesan and truffle cream. The fillet Rossini style is super! Deluxe suite room well furnished and comfortable. Highly recommended and compliments to the staff for their commitment and attention to the customer!

For the third consecutive year, to “break up” the journey back home, we booked in the charming village of Castelvetro, taking advantage of the beautiful location, the comfortable rooms and the service offered by the Locanda del Feudo. Friendly staff, parking a few steps away, large and welcoming suites in an ancient building, breakfast outdoors in the alleys of the village. We stayed overnight one evening at the end of July on a trip from Naples to Trentino Alto Adige. There were four of us plus a poodle. The room was comfortable, clean and super cozy. The staff was kind and helpful. Then the small village of Castelvetro di Modena did the rest. The price was more than fair. I recommend it. The only small flaw was the breakfast at €10 per person. But you can choose to have it in some of the bars in the village. 👍
