What an absolutely lovely hotel and experience - start to finish. We are vegan, and we were so lucky to have found Paradiso. From the excellent and helpful management to the staff (Tommy became a friend!), we were truly enthralled by our experience. It is a small hotel, and it feels like a truly intimate vacation. The pool area is warm and heavenly, Marnie's yoga classes are excellent, the rooms, esp the larger ones, are lovely and comfortable, and the food - it is absolutely a dream for vegans. The buffet breakfast is heavenly, and includes ample amounts of both sweet (croissants!) and savory options, excellent coffee, fresh juices, and fresh breads. There is a la carte lunch available, right on the slopes - we loved the brick pizza offerings! And dinner - 5 courses of the most sophisticated and delicious vegan dishes. If you are vegan - or not - you will love your stay at Paradiso.

Hotel Paradiso is exactly that--paradise! This was our third visit to the hotel, but our first with a large group of nine friends and we all had the best experience! Half of the group is vegan, while the other half is not, but Chef Aggeliki's delicious food definitely converted everyone! The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, the ski-in/ski-out access in winter is excellent, and the spa was the perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. Our waiters Tommy and Rooney were especially wonderful in making us feel welcome and 'at home' every day at breakfast and dinner. We can't wait to visit again soon! P.S. The best way to get there is to fly into Innsbruck and either hire a car or transfer service to Compatsch, where the hotel comes to pick you up (in winter).

Where to start...firstly the beautiful, recently retrofitted hotel sits at 2000 m altitude next to a lovely piste in the middle of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. The skiing is gorgeous: wide, well kept pistes under impossible blue skies are a reason enough to be here. The hotel is run by a family that also owns two other vegan hotels in Italy and is as serious about hospitality as they are about sustainability and, of course, food. The team is lovely, friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable without being ostentatious and the hotel is filled with contemporary art including by a number of artists who have taken residence here since it reopened. And then the food. Impossiblytalented chef Aggeliki Charami who also runs the kitchen at the Koukoumi hotel im Mykonos in the summer, has been in charge since last year as Paradiso transitioned to fully vegan - no mean feat in South Tyroll (or mountains in general!). Aggeliki and her team produce food of impossibly high standards, inspired by her native Greece, Italy and everywhere in between. Half board includes buffet breakfast (pumpkin porridge was a revelation), filo pastries stuffed with everything from herbs to peppers, excellent tofu scramble, fantastic selection of pastries (cream filled croissant anyone?) and a desert table heaving under crumbles, creamy tarts and chocolate delights. Alo included is the dinner: a five course symphony of high end cooking mastery that changes daily with a 9 day rotation: last night there was a delicious cheesy foccacia to start - probably the best I ever had, followed by a version of the Ceasar said after which there were chickpeas in celery broth and the most sublime seitan lasagna i have ever tasted. Finished of by millefoglie with pistachio ganache and yuzy cream. It is insane. There is also a la carte lunch available that has pizzas, vegan fried egg, bao buns and my personal favourite, gnudi pasta a la carbonara - so good I had it twice in a week. Which is 2 out of 3 lunches I actually managed to squeeze into my seriously expanded waistline. I absolutely enjoyed everything and so did the non vegan guests who were certainly the majority last night. The very much non vegan people aplauded the chef as one would a rock star. And this evening I am looking forward to my Omnia fine dining (as if everything else wasn't) 9 course experience that I will write about separately. I could not be happier - thank you Paradiso and Chef!

It took me 10 hours train from Berlin to Bolzano by myself. What's the point to come to the aples in Italy. Not only because of the most beautiful snow view at the alps, People, family, passion and love make Paradiso hotel as the best hotel must stay in Europe. All the customers are the returned customers who booked one year ahead and continued coming to this hotel for more than 9 years. enjoy the time, the paradise scenery, best family Italian food and the bounding of every customer in this hotel. Guests from the celebrity, politician, professional, couple and single people like me are all attracted to this spot as the highlight of the new year. These did not happened one day. I spoke with the owner Alex Spögler and his mother. They ran this hotel for more than three decades. What made them non stop serving the customer 24x7 from pick up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, arranging ski activities to check out with the best human touching holiday experience. They only have one passion in their heart is to make the hotel where the guest feel like their home-that can only achieved through the best team. Treating everyone like your family and friends and offered the best to them. To be the top hotel in the world, it doesn't need to have luxury decoration and Michelin star hotel. It's the people and the passion which made the holiday difference. It's the first time I will miss the hotel, people and things happened and i can't wait to share with all the readers.

This location is magical and part of the Unesco World Heritage Site. This is my first time visiting the mountains during summer and now hooked. . The views are stunning and you are literally located in the middle of the mountain so you can ski/hike from the moment you step out of the hotel. We hired electric bikes with endless exploring stopping off for Aperol Spritz at the many mountain cafes. The hotel is unique with an incredible curation of art work. My fav was the electric blue huge snails creeping up the hotel. This certainly prevented me from getting lost. The vegan food is exceptional . Daily early morning swims , yoga classes , saunas and steam room made this trip complete. The Relaxing Floating Experience is a must ! If you can play the piano then you will love the lounge too. Will 100 % be back with many more friends. Perfect Holiday ! Oh and the best vegan croissants I have EVER had !

We flew from Gatwick to Verona and then took a taxi to Compatsch (Albert Fill) where the hotel picked us up. You drive across a couple of ski runs on the way to the hotel which is set high up with a ski run right outside the hotel. We arrived for a late lunch of pizza outside and welcome drinks. We had two rooms. One a corner room with fabulous views up the piste and the other a suite where the girls slept in the sitting area on a double bed converted from the sofa. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. The bathroom of the suite had a walk in shower and a Japanese toilet which intimidated our seven year old. The hotel has a lovely dining area, a separate bar, a large terrace, a swimming pool, sauna, outside tub and a gym. There’s yoga but we didn’t do this. It is dog friendly and the clientele is mainly German and Italian. It is vegetarian with a five course wet meal in the evenings and a kids option. We are not vegetarians but the variety and high standard of the food meant that was never really an issue. The owner (she owns several hotels) and her sons play an active role in hosting and managing which helps to make it feel personal without being overly intimate. I am sure it is one reason why the standards are so high. Our main waitress was Ester who was Croatian and studying marine biology. She was amazing as were all the staff (the waitress studying pharmacology, the Romanian driver etc). The skiing is family friendly (ie a range of slopes and no drunk groups of out of control skiers). The instructors were great and Natasha (7) particularly liked Marco from the blue school who seemed to find her constant singing amusing. So in short we loved the hotel and would love to return. The only criticism I had was the taxi service on the way back where Albert sent a replacement car company (Marcus). The car went up to the hotel rather than meeting us in Compatsch meaning we started an hour late after he had to put snow chains on to get to the hotel. Although we were in Compatsch. This wasn’t really his fault. But tailgating cars to get them to pull over and overtaking on the inside definitely was his fault.

We had the most incredible time here. We got married on a nearby mountain and had our guests over for dinner at the hotel where the food was INCREDIBLE every single day, from breakfast to dinner it was absolutely delicious. The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. The views were out of this world, the drinks tastey, the hot tub divine. Everything was top quality and a little edgy/quirky but not pretentious, really wholesome. I want to live there! We'll be back to celebrate our anniversary again and again.
