Balcony views of the volcano Etna and steps away from a piazza offering cafes, gelato, and Bar Turrisi. The little renovated farmhouse is a stand alone cottage, for those who appreciate their privacy. AC works great. Tour guides pick you up and drop you off. Bus stop at Piazza San Antonio brings up and down the mountain.

Tucked away in the heartof the magical medieval citadel of Castelmola, the Borgo Medievale offers both a comfortable stay and warm hospitality. The rooms are spacious and have cooking facilities. If you want to relax there is a very pleasant spa. Eateries and scenery and stunning. What more could you want? Simply lovely.

I stayed for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend in a room of this structure. The room was extremely clean, ours in particular was very simple but cozy at the same time, with furnishings that recall the name of the business. Perfectly integrated with the village in which it is located. Having an exclusive spa for an hour was also a positive experience, perfect for the occasion we came to celebrate. Konstantin greeted us and made us feel comfortable from the beginning to the end of the stay. Even the breakfast was very good.

A real step back in time: the whole structure in a medieval style, even the names of the rooms! Our room was as in the photo, nice and in line with the stars of the structure. Clean room and bathroom. Small but nice spa. many times better to choose a small spa with not too many things, but at least functional and spotless. The wellness program is for exclusive use. We tried the massage and it was great! Excellent quality breakfast. We took advantage of the fantastic location of the structure (just below the cathedral): we took something from the buffet and enjoyed it on the stairs of the cathedral overlooking the coast and Mount Etna. Wonderful! The girl at the reception is very competent, dynamic and professional. Compliments! The only flaw, not of the structure, but of Castelmola in general, is the parking for motorbikes. Few places for such a popular place.

Non è sicuramente un posto per famiglie con bambini piccoli. Check-in da fare entro un certo orario, colazione scarsissima, indicano un parcheggio inesistente (si tratta di quello comunale a parecchi metri dalla struttura), e se si hanno dei borsoni bisogna fare tanta strada a piedi. Camere attaccate l’una all’altra, si sente ogni tipo di rumore o conversazione. Soggiorno regalatoci per questo abbiamo soggiornato lì ma se avessi dovuto pagarlo tutto di tasca mia avrei recensito con l’opzione Terribile.
