The balcony offers a wonderful view, and our room was relatively clean. However, the service was not what one can expect from a place in this price range. Unfortunately, we had paid in advance. The staff was casual, often ignored us and seemed overwhelmed by the fact that we were the only guests in the house. The breakfast was changeable and reflected the staff’s lack of interest. It was not possible to have orange juice during our three-day stay. The coffee was either too thin or too strong, as if using the coffee pods twice. When the jam jar was empty, it was not refilled the next morning and we were told to eat Nutella instead (in the small plastic packaging). We did not feel welcome, and had the impression that the owners and the staff were so busy with the (really necessary) renovation work that we were rather a nuisance. This is understandable, but then they should either close the place completely, or not demand the full, rather high, price.
