Very correct accommodation, although there is a certain musty smell, which is fixed by opening the window and airing it out, spacious rooms, very friendly and customer-oriented staff. Located next to the Corte Inglés, and in the heart of the city. With taxi rank in front. It's a shame that breakfast doesn't have good coffee, even though it has automatic machines. I recommend going to the cafeteria that is on the left, very very good coffee.

Traveling from Marbella to Barcelona I decided with my wife to stop for a night in Castellón de la Plana; I was looking for a central hotel with a garage as I had a car with luggage. Unfortunately, the choice fell on this hotel located in the immediate vicinity of Ribalta Park, Plaza de España, the bullring and equipped with parking costing 15 euros per day. I speak and understand Spanish reasonably well so there were no misunderstandings. The receptionist explained to me that two single rooms or a "superior" habitacion were available, obviously at a higher cost (€71 per night). Tired from the trip and being with my wife, I took the "superior" paying €86 for the garage and room. Unfortunately the "superior" is a small living room with kitchenette, but without any utensils and therefore of no use (after all, who goes to a hotel and has to use a kitchenette?) and, divided by a plasterboard wall, in the narrow corner of the room, a bed that should have been a double bed, but was barely more than a square and a half and just over one meter and seventy long (I am so tall and I almost went out with my feet out); but given the narrow space, a "normal" double bed would not have fit (from the photos I attach you can clearly see that those who slept on the inside had difficulty getting over the bed). The room is dark as the three windows have "fixed" Venetian blinds and is cold; at the reception, where I protested, they explained to me that the heating system is centralized and they manage it; so they turned it on for about an hour last night and, after my phone call to the reception, another hour this morning. I'm writing while I'm still in my room, tired early in the morning from having slept(??) uncomfortably, little and badly. We would have to have breakfast which, unlike what is reported on Trip, is not included in the price but costs 3.50 euros each; but given the premises I prefer to find a good pastry bar nearby. And if this is the "superior" room, what are the normal ones?
