Sea view room The room is average but the view is very good. There are many stairs to the room. Service is slow and unmotivated. Good breakfast

Hotel in a magnificent setting with lovely views of the sea. Tennis court, swimming pool, table tennis, badminton available. Small beach accessible at the bottom of the hotel. Hiking trails, golf and small village of Begur also nearby. Very good breakfast. We will come back for sure!

A beautiful hotel, in a lovely position overlooking a quiet bay. Peaceful, without road noise. It has a fantastic swimming pool and sunny terraces which are beautifully landscaped with mature planting. The staff are friendly, and very considerate and the experience is rather low key than bling bling which is nice. The downside is the number of steps to reach every part of the property and no lifts. Something to be considered if you have mobility issues, though if you can overcome these challenges it is definitely worth it.

During our visit to BEGUR we were lucky enough to have chosen the Hotel Aigua Blava. Definitely a great choice, everything was perfect, from the accommodations, the common areas of the hotel, the food, the views, the calas within easy walking distance. Without a doubt we would choose the Hotel and the area where the hotel is located again and again. It really has been perfect!

Hotel located in a great setting with interconnected nice small beaches all easily reachable on foot. Food excellent, staff cordial and always helpful. Location is a gem on Costa Brava. Will be back for sure.

Booked a stay at the hotel based on the trip advisor reviews. The staff at the hotel are helpful, but the hotel and food need attention v the charges for the stay. Our nightly rate was over 500 euros and for this I'd expect much better. Our lunch was possibly the worst meal I can remember - The toasted sandwich was fried - saturated in fat and cooked in burnt oil. The chips exactly the same. Dinner was better, but average. There are no restaurants within an easy walk so you other than driving you are reliant on the hotel. The room was clean and a lovely view. The pool was not in great repair with tiles missing. Overall the hotel felt tired and in need of investment.

Very pretty hotel with nice hang-out areas; patio bar, terrace dinning, pretty pool. Also easy access to a small cove beach. The only downside was dinner food, the view was great, the wine great, the servers great, but the food blah. Had seabass overcooked, lobster ravioli was mushy, not uneatible, but not good. Breakfast was good. Still gave hotel a 5star even with below average dinner food because the rest of the hotel was very nice. If I could, I would give it a 4.5star.

The breathtaking view from our room set the tone for a memorable stay in a 5 star hotel along the spectacular Costa Brava. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations. Our corner room on an upper level gave us a full view of the entire property and was worth the evening noise from the terrace dining room below - a fair trade off in our opinion. Speaking of dining, the breakfast was off the charts and the dinner menu was just a tad behind. We left the property once for dinner and decided to cancel a second off site reservation in favor of the comfort and menu at the hotel. Dinner service was spotty and some servers seemed uninterested, but were friendly. Front desk staff was helpful and only one issue was temporarily unresolved - air conditioning that was extremely difficult to control- but that was remedied after one night. The lobby was beautiful and comfortable, as was the pool area. As for the "beach", we were not tempted to spend much time on the small and crowded area at the foot of some pretty steep steps. We would definitely return.

We spent over a week at this special hotel. It exceeded ALL of our expectations! It really is a five star hotel for location, accommodations, interior design and service. Better than Il San Pietro and other 5 star European hotels. We hated to leave!
