La Blanca Resort & Spa

We stayed at the resort for 5 days. The resort was excellent. We had room 24 with an excellent view of the water and the surrounding landscape. The room was nice. The air conditioning worked great and was very cool in the room. Breakfast was complimentary and the food was very good. I also had dinner one night at the resort restaurant and the food was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The resort itself was beautiful and the landscape was immaculate. The infinity pool was great very clean and very fun to swim in. The resort is about a 25-minute ride from Palmero. You will definitely need to rent a car, hired driver service can be very costly to drive you around the area I recommend a rental car. You cannot go wrong staying at this resort I would definitely recommend and I will be back.

Wow. From the moment we arrived this place was excellent. After a harassed airport experience (London), we hadn't properly eaten and had been up since 2am. The reception when we checked in asked us if we would like them to call the restaurant to stay open for us as it was about to close. They weren't aware of our starvation so this was such a welcome offer we were very grateful. So we got our late lunch. It was fabulous food. Much appreciated. We were upgraded to a sea room view and no steps (godsend with a 2 year old). The resort was very quiet I think early May is not peak season. Which we loved. Pool days were maybe us and one or 2 other guest parties. No fighting for sun beds or all that malarkey. Pool freezing but stunning. Once you're in its actually quite lovely but initially takes your breath away. Maybe in peak summer it's warmer. The room was lovely, cleaned every day, to an excellent standard. I would prefer 2 pillows to the 1 each provided. Kitchenette fully equipped, no salt and pepper and no kettle but we used a saucepan for hot drinks. No bother. There's a great supermarket called Deco not too far which you can stock your fridge with lovely Italian fayre. You need a car here as the roads aren't walkable, I saw few taxis and public transport appeared a bit of a lengthy process. Breakfast! What can I say. I've been home a week and still miss it. Fresh fruit, cereal - your usual, then eggs, sausage,bacon (OH says delicious). Pastries, cakes, olives. You name it. The waiter takes your coffee order and brings it to your table with a stunning view out to sea. Impeccable friendly service from all staff. The play park a welcome area when you have a toddler. Overall a stunning location, excellent, clean and fabulous service. Would visit again without a doubt. Thank you!

We stayed here for 6 nights - the second leg of our 11 night stay on this side of Sicily . We view it his resort as good but not very good and this is why . First of all the approach from the main road is disappointing with lots of fly tipped rubbish. The room is dominated by the kitchen area but there was no kettle / coffee machine ( for hot water) even though our room was a superior double with sea view . The bathroom, well it’s badly laid out and extremely compact especially the shower - it’s tiny and water floods the bathroom. Breakfast- it’s not the freshest or high quality- ie sliced cheese , scrambled eggs cold and again not fresh , juice is poor quality and watery , too much sweet stuff - cakes etc but no seeds or nuts .There was a selection of vegetables but they looked like the same stuff was put out every day . But the view from the restaurant is lovely . Good points the resort is well kept with great views but this means you are a drive away from anywhere and the road down to the beach is tight , bumpy and not walkable - definitely not at night and even for walkers like us it’s very steep ( and we live in an area known for its hills ) The pool area is nice and kept immaculate but here again there is a design flaw - it looks like an infinity pool but it’s not so when used if someone drives in or there is a few using it then the sunbed area floods . Note the decent restaurants are a good 10 min drive away and you will have to pay to park .

We stayed one week and had a sea view room. Overall, we were very happy here. The room was clean and had all the needed amenities. The personell was always very friendly and helpful. The outdoor installations (pool, garden, terrasse, etc.) were of a modern style and well preserved. The other guests were mostly small families with children or couples, very respectful and tranquil. The location was ideal since you reached everything important of this area in less than 1 car hour approximately. We did not try out the spa and gym area. So can’t say anything about that. Some recommendations to the hotel’s management would be: - invest in a better internet connection, - have more variety for breakfast (each day it was the same and, thus, got pretty repetitive) - invest in a wall box for charging electric cars Thank you for your service!

Extraordinary Good Spa Hotel. All employees are very Service oriented, the Hotel is perfectly clean and with an eye for detailes. The breakfast was versatile with a lot of specials from sicily. One evening we had an incredible Dinner. Die to the fact, that the Hotel is located on a Small Mountain, you have a lovely view to Castellammare del golfo and the Sea. The Pool area, with the infinity Pool is also a Highlight. The only negative Point is the poor Wifi in our Appartement.
