We booked this hotel as it was in a good location in the town and more importantly for us Pino the hotel owner has utterly amazing knowledge of the battle around Cassino during WW2 and could not have been more helpful with regard to information. Our main reason for our trip was to visit the battle sites and cemeteries. Our rooms were air conditioned with a private bathroom with shower. The Italian buffet breakfast was very good and we certainly enjoyed the pastries. All the staff were friendly and happy to provide maps and tour guides, along with allowing us to gain information from the vast library of books on the battle . It was also a short walk from the hotel to catch the minibus service to Monte Cassino Abbey.
