Hotel Daytona Palace

The hotel does not have a lift, the rooms have no direct light, you have to leave the bathroom door open for the light to reach the room. In the bathroom there is nowhere to store toiletries or to hang towels. We had the feeling that the sheets had not been changed and we slept on the blankets. Food not worth evaluating since only a first course and a second course were provided. It's true that it was an organized trip but at least have an alternative! I definitely don't understand how it can be rated higher than 2/5

Disappointing! We stayed for a few days and they were horrible!! We immediately encountered various problems. The first night we had to deal with bed mites, mosquitoes and various insects. Going down to reception we found the staff rude and without mosquito or insect spray!! Shabby food and always served cold by rude waiters. Even worse for the room! The only livable ones were the suites, in the others it was a nightmare! The bathroom door was broken as was the air conditioner, the hairdryer didn't work (these things were fixed only after several recalls). The bed mattress was uncomfortable and not very clean, furthermore the position of the sockets was inconvenient for more people! one was next to the bed and one in the bathroom!!!! The light in the bathroom was so dim that we practically showered in the dark, and toilet paper was never replenished. We noticed the lack of safes!!! During the day we left the closed suitcases in the room and when we returned the room was dirty and we found the suitcases open (luckily we had no valuables in the suitcases). It would have been handy to have a second key since without it you were completely in the dark!! From the other rooms you could hear everything, so it was impossible to have privacy or rest! The overall service was good apart from one of the managers who often and repeatedly responded poorly to our requests. Not recommended sorry!!!!

rooms with old furnishings, lift out of order, but the scandalous thing is the breakfast, discount products, undrinkable coffee and on the tables jars with jam and loose Nutella of unknown origin without a label indicating the expiry date and with the doubt that someone has messed up or spat out

We stayed at this hotel during an educational trip. We were all accommodated on the first floor. The rooms of both teachers and students were spacious and clean (apart from a few small problems such as rooms without windows and a pillow cover with a small stain). The staff were very helpful and kind. We had dinner all 3 nights of our stay at the hotel. Pleasant food, they were attentive to different dietary needs. Sweet breakfast with croissants and hot donuts every morning. The packed lunch (a sandwich, a bottle of water, a piece of fruit and a croissant) was overall appreciated by the students.
