What a delightful stay we had at the Villa Thesan in Castello di Casole. Beautifully appointed, supremely comfortable and excellently serviced, we could not have asked for more . Thanks to concierge Romina for working tirelessly to make our stay enjoyable . We had a delicious dinner and cooking lesson with Alessandro and a fabulous pizza making experience with Carmelo . The restaurant cuisine is at it’s Tuscan best . The spa staff is excellent , the housekeeping impeccable and everyone from the front desk to the valets are most hospitable . Kudos to General Manager Mr. Alessandro Baccarelli for a job well done . And the star of the show - the views all around . If beauty, peace and utter serenity are in your Tuscan dream - Castello di Casole will make it come true .

We stayed 8 beautiful nights to explore a few nearby villages and to savor the experience of relaxing in the most gorgeous setting. The grounds are lovely with flowers everywhere, the staff is happy and accommodating, and the service is impeccable.

Our stay at Castello di Casole was truly extraordinary—a perfect finale to our journey through Italy. I honestly can’t say enough about this place. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The entire property is stunning, with beautifully manicured grounds and breathtaking views in every direction. The pool area was peaceful and serene, offering a perfect spot to relax. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails just off the property, and the hotel thoughtfully provided water backpacks and towels for the trek—such a nice touch. The hikes were scenic and energizing, and coming back to such comfort made it even better. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and often made with ingredients straight from their own gardens. Their house-made olive oil was the best I’ve ever tasted—we loved it so much, we had it shipped home! One of the absolute highlights was the guided truffle hunt they arranged. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience—educational, exciting, and heartwarming thanks to our friendly and passionate guide and his amazing dogs. Yes, it’s a splurge—but if you’re looking for a luxurious, soul-filling experience (because YOLO), this is the place. Castello di Casole was beyond what we imagined and the perfect way to end our trip. Highly, highly recommend.

A magical stay in Tuscany that just keeps getting better with each visit. They’ve added new activities and experiences since my last visit and all the staff remembers your name. Breakfast was delicious. Emporio is superb. Many of the rooms are renovated too. Lots of hiking on property too! Best of the best.

Blooming roses, fragrant lemons, spring breeze... Coming back here is an exquisite joy! We enjoyed a splendid lunch in the courtyard, surrounded by a magical atmosphere of musical notes, beautiful paintings and fine local craftsmanship. Ramzi and Agata's kindness and care made the experience even more enchanting. Andrea at the bar suggested a rhubarb liqueur that tasted of spring and ancient memories. Susanna was very kind and affable. And Angelo incredibly attentive and professional, took care of every detail and made sure to make a wonderful lunch an unforgettable experience.
