Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Start – L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, Seychelles. We stayed at L’Escale Resort over Easter, hoping to create special family memories. Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway. We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights. However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. Overall, while L’Escale Resort looks beautiful and has the potential to be an excellent luxury destination, it’s let down by poor maintenance, weak systems, and extremely slow service. I went here with my sister and apart from the beauty of the spa itself I also wanted to mention that Kristine was SO sweet. I asked for her name because she truly made our experience so nice and made us feel extremely welcome. She gave us all the information about the spa without us even having to ask.

Treated me like family. I ended up having my luggage displaced and needed clothing. They opened up the boutique on a day that it was closed just so I can buy some things. The food was amazing, the service and staff was incredible! I will definitely be coming back.

Lovely boutique hotel overlooking the water with an infinity pool. Rooms clean and well equipped. Breakfast included in our stay and was delicious. A bit pricey but everything in Seychelles is. Recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel, lovely location. Their restaurant is great and the chef did an exceptionally good job. Highly recommended.
