Located just outside Málaga centre, this hotel is very clean and has excellent facilities. However, if you want to go to the city center, you must use the bus. It took about 20 minutes by bus to reach the city center, and public transportation was easier to use than expected, so I didn't feel any major inconvenience. The breakfast is great and the room condition is good. However, the swimming pool on the rooftop is thinner and smaller than expected, so take that into account.

Clean, quiet, excellent staff, excellent location, outside the center but near, about 600mts, perhaps at the beginning the intimidated area (in my case because I was alone), because it is close to homes where people were noisy and many boys with Motors and those things, but there were also people walking, bike, in the supermarket and nearby bars; the bed sounded a little and the slip I touched was of aluminium, a little uncomfortable to access and to a little noise, The key did not work very well. I know it's difficult to keep a place like this because people are not always careful, considered or ordered, it was my first experience in a hostel and I was in a room with six mixed beds, all were boys and I was the only girl, And the truth is that very well, an experience that I wanted to live and I liked it very much, I just wanted it to sleep but there are those who use it for many more days and rest during the day, cook, work, etc ....have air conditioning and an electric furnace in the the roof cloak to protect from the sun and that doesn't bother the clarity, the bed gardens, the light in the bed head is all right, for putting one to it but maybe there are few baths, Two showers and two bathrooms plus the disabled on the entrance, generally fantastic.

Picked up hire car in Malaga and used this hotel as base for trips to Ronda, Cordoba and Granada as it was central for them all and near to main motorway network. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely big room (121) with balcony and an excellent breakfast. Hotel is on edge of town and taxi will cost 10 Euros each way...town is beautiful too and well worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again if I was touring Andalucia.

Let’s get the bad out of the way first. Two of the many things I learned in over 40 years of being in business are 1. Never assume and 2.communicate, communicate,communicate. To the owners. If you wanted to see my passport details before you sent me the codes to access the building do so well beforehand and not on the day of arrival when I did not have access to WiFi.. When I eventually managed to reach you ( the number on the *********** confirmation yielded only an access to a Spanish call centre) your somewhat flippant response for me “ to chill and find a coffee house with WiFi” so that I could send you passport copies was not well received. Secondly if you are going to post instructions about how to enter the building using a code on a keypad, make sure that the instructions are correct. Yours are not! I encountered no fewer than three couples who could not gain access to the building due to your incorrect information. A similar situation occurs at apartment level. Finally don’t assume that everyone of your guests have the knowledge of how to operate kitchen devices. Provide instructions! The good. Whilst the building exterior is unpretentious the minute one gains entry to the foyer you are in another world. A cool ,fragrant and well appointed entrance suggests more to come. The apartment itself was immaculate, superbly clean and almost minimalistic in its decor. Everything that the website promised was true to a fault. I don’t know who the cleaning contractors are but the owners should stay with them! The bed was comfortable and the shower water plentiful and hot. Absolutely no complaints. An added bonus is that there is a fairly large and well stocked MAS supermarket no further than 60 metres from the building.Access to train and bus stations is in easy walking distance.

As a hostel is already ”oriented” you about how to stay, it is not the first time I go and I have repeated basically for the location and because ”only” was going to sleep, because it is a very basic accommodation, furniture, beds..... that if, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

It’s been four years since we last stayed , due to covid etc. This must have been our fifth or sixth stay and it was great to see (and be remembered by some of the team, Gemma, Xzavi, Luis). We stay here because of the location , just 7mins to the airport, and a pleasant 10 min walk or so into central Malaga. On this occasion we had a mid evening arrival so I emailed for a restaurant reservation . In our room was a lovely chilled bottle of cava and a cake as it was my birthday. A lovely touch. Nacho on reception was delightfully cheerful and welcoming. We had a great room on the 6th floor. Comfortable and clean, it does however get hot, and if you leave the window open you can hear the street noise (not a problem). My only suggestion for the room would be a mirror in the main room and slightly more lights. There is a fridge which we used for some food purchases. You can take drinks upstairs and they are cheap, we always use the bar, you can talk to the team and learn great facts about the area. (Without Luis’ s tips a few years back our trip to Granada wouldn’t have been as good). The food in the restaurant was good and well priced , the restaurant is now on the ground floor a change since our last trip. Don’t forget a trip on the slide , a Must in this hotel!! There are lots of local bars and restaurants nearby , we will be back. Thanks to everyone for another great trip.

If you have read my previous reviews you will note that we booked the Parador Antequera on the basis of our good experience in Parador Cordoba. The plus side of Antequera (unlike Parador) is you can easily walk into town. The Antequera is very different in style a much more modern approach which works equally as well. Smaller rooms but adequate, no tea or coffee facilities but there is a small minibar fridge. Bathrooms are well designed shower over bath, his and hers basins, toilet and bidet. Breakfast is also a much smaller affair than Cordoba but equally as good, worth noting you do have to specify what time slot you will attend. Free parking onsite. Easy walk into town. Market close by on a Tuesday. Unfortunately no showers or changing area so this might be problematic if you have a later flight. Point worth noting is that the pool is very deep starting at about 1.5 and going up to over 2m so it is certainly more of a swimming pool than standing / relaxing pool. Water temp was good and whole area spotlessly clean. Pool towel were collected and returned to reception area. I would stay again.
