We have just returned home from this hotel and couldn't fault it spotlessly clean fresh towels everyday, something for everyone at breakfast lovely pool and surrounding area the room also has a fridge but tip although there is a hairdryer take your own,very friendly staff had a really lovely holiday .

Just came back from this hotel we stayed for 3 nights and it was great. We were lucky and got warmer than usual weather for this time of the year but air conditioning all around hotel and rooms was great. Large outdoor pool and small jacuzzi beside it, also an indoor pool and hottub. The water in the pool was bloody freezing but was still great, has a swim up bar which serves great cocktails and meals, can sometimes be a bit of a wait but cocktails are all made from scratch not from a machine and the food served is lovely and fresh and made to order. Some items and cocktails are more on the pricier side so buying drinks from the local supermarket is ideal. Breakfast in the morning was consistently brilliant, so much selection of fruits, pastries, and hot foods as well as cereals and the hot drinks from the machines are surprisingly very nice. Rooms are slightly dated but not an issue at all, very clean and comfortable with a large balcony. Although the hotel and staff are great theres a few small issues but not anything major and wouldn’t put us off going back. The hairdryers being the main issue. Probably the worst hotel hairdryer i have ever witnessed so BRING YOUR OWN HAIRDRYER and thank me later. The beds could do with being replaced as very very creaky but the mattress pillows duvet comfortable and clean. The minimarket up the hill from hotel is expensive so walk into the town and go to bom dia supermercado for much cheaper water, snacks etc. The area has loads of bars shops and restaurants to choose from, a lovely beach in the area and the views are great. This hotel is at the top of a very steep street so if you have mobility issues this may not be ideal unless you are willing to get a taxi to the top every night as the footpaths are also cobbled and tend to be blocked by cars. If you want to go elsewhere for a night, an uber into Albufeira will cost between 18-25€ per way but the drive is over half an hour so in my opinion a very fair price. All in all a great hotel in a lovely area and would definitely recommend!

Another great stay at this hotel I think we were one of the first to stay after their winter break. Rooms slightly dated but clean and functional all public areas also very clean. A short walk into town with quite a few bars and restaurants opening for the season.

Firstly, this is not a 4 star hotel by our modern standards but they aren't charging 4 star prices. This is however a hotel we will return to despite a few little *******. The hotel is perfectly located, far enough away from the centre to be quiet but near enough to walk there in minutes. There are some excellent restaurants very close to the hotel which is great as they only serve snacks after breakfast. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard albeit later than you would usually expect- after 3pm most days- this did not matter to us but may bother some people. The staff are efficient but not exactly friendly, the exception being the young man with the glasses at breakfast- he was excellent. The breakfast staff seem to huddle together chatting rather than interacting with guests, I suspect there is a lot of training going on with it being so early in the season. The breakfast itself is not replenished before it's empty, the hot selection is not really hot more lukewarm but there is a great variety of choices to suit all tastes. The bar is immaculate & comfortable but lacked a**osphere as it was so quiet, the bar man was great & helpful. The hotel is dated, the rooms definitely need a refresh as does the indoor pool area but this did not impact on our enjoyment of the hotel. We will definitely return as the area is beautiful & the hotel suited us but if you are visiting you may wish to manage your expectations.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks on holiday in the Mirchora and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all pleasant, helpful and friendly. The breakfast choices were superb and it was easy to get an evening meal at the very many restaurants close by. We enjoyed the pool, walks to the town and the surrounding area and the coastal walks. The beaches were fantastic.

It was very quiet due off-season but facilities good though bathrooms need refurbishment to walk-in showers rather than baths. Breakfast choice excellent.

It was great stay in Algarve trip. There are many restaurants around the hotel. The room is very clean and good size.

Beautiful grounds, lobby, friendly and helpful staff Rooms and bathroom are tired and need updating
