Always a great stay - away from the madness of Dallas! So peaceful and quiet, and it’s such a quaint little Inn. Next to it is the serene Kellogg Lake, a popular place for ducks & geese. The owners of Best Budget Inn are so friendly and accommodating, and they’re always glad to see me whenever I can stay a few days.

Great little retro like motel with a great price. Inly issue was the small shower and no soap, but glad i had my own. Would definitely book again.

We had a pleasant check in with guidance for local restaurants. We took a walk around the lake nearby and enjoyed watching the geese. The room was spacious and the bed comfy.

Felt like I was in grandma's guest room. Very comfortable and home-like. Cute set up and very quiet except for the rooms going to 112-114. Doors are loud. No problems, even did a load of laundry. Thumbs up!

We were coming to town for a wedding and chose this hotel because of the reviews. Hearing that it is unique with a “Rt 66” retro-vibe and also a small business, I definitely wanted to check it out! My teen kids loved it! Homey, retro, a beautiful lake next door, reliable WiFi, and comfy beds. Thanks so much!

Plastic, unclean, noisy, non breathable wrapper on the mattress rendered is unusable as such. We had to *****[ the bed, remove it an remake the bed so we could actually sleep on it. Also the beds were set up on these weird plastic buckets, (looked like ice buckets). Made for a lot of noise everytime you moved at all.

Fantastic experience in a 1960s-1970s themed hotel. An entertaining mix of old and new. Great place to stay along Route 66, with a beautiful lake next door.

Check in was easy, but I was less than impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The decor was cute and charming for the theme, but smelled faintly of smoke (although it was a nonsmoking property) and could have used a good deep clean, especially in the bathroom. I’d spent the extra $20 on a nicer room elsewhere next time.
