I only arrived late and I had to leave the next day again, but it felt like a very, nice clean and social hostel. The staff was very nice and friendly, and it was a realatively cheap hostel. Also It was very nice that the breakfast

I stayed in Media Luna hostel in January. On my first night, I had a problem with a man in my dorm room so I went to the reception to ask for help. FIVE times I went to the reception and the man told me there was nothing he could do to help me and that I had to wait until around 10pm for the night manager to come and then he might be able to help me. As a young, solo female traveller I was feeling very upset and uncomfortable, the reception were no help at all so I decided to book a hotel room. As I was leaving for the hotel room, the night manager arrived and said that the man who I had a problem with would be kicked out of the hostel when he arrived back (at this point the man had gone out for the night). Luckily, I still went to the hotel room because when the man came back he was let in and, due to a member of staff telling a resident what was going on (as well as telling them my name and age which is confidential information), she began a fight and beat him to the point that he had to go to hospital. The police got involved and it was all quite a frightening experience. Therefore, I would really advise females travelling to Cartagena to avoid this hostel as you will not be given any help in these situations and they do not protect your private information.

Tuvimos dos días sin agua con el hostel lleno y no se arregló el tema. Los baños estaban mugrientos, no nos podíamos bañar y tampoco lavar los dientes. Ibas a pedir agua para lavarte los dientes y te la seguían cobrando. El personal no daba respuestas a nada y muy poco colaborativo. Además, las sabanas de las camas estaban sucias y también manchadas. El aire acondicionado de nuestra habitación no funcionaba, reclamamos varias veces y no lo arreglaron. Las paredes de los cuartos se caían a pedazos. No le recomiendo a nadie este hostel.

J'y ai séjourné 2 fois et mon expérience à été la même : Médiocre. Heureusement que le staff change puisque mis à part leur non amabilité, il m'a été très compliqué d'avoir une bouteille d'eau, alors que le frigo était rempli. De plus, les informations données n'étaient jamais correctes (terminal de bus, banques, visites ...). Pour finir, impossible de fermer l’œil de la nuit a cause du non respect du couvre feu (les 2 fois). Points forts : Très bien situé et safe

Muy maluco hasta para dormir. Las camas eran cómodas y altas pero hace mucho calor en las habitaciones, hay habitaciones que ni siquiera tienen aire acondicionado. Los espacios comunes están re decuidados, la piscina da algo de asco. Y al baño es HORRIBLE desde las ducha hasta los inodoros. Ni me atrevo a contar lo que vi de la impresión que me da recordar. Llegué enfermo del viaje y estoy seguro que lo prendí ahí. La gente es muy bullosa en la noche. Alguna gente del personal era buena gente pero otra algo indiferente. También nos robaron una toalla los del hostal y luego dijeron que era de ellos. Que descaro.

El hostel esta saturado de habitaciones y los espacios comunes colapsados de gente, muy descuidados y sucios. El baño UN ASCO y la cocina es diminuta para toda la gente. La atención del personal es muy amable y la ubicación muy buena.

L'Auberge est très bien, mais on s'est fait voler des bouteilles d'alcool et des vêtements dans le storage des valises avant d'avoir notre chambre, par les employés, car c'est barré à clé. En discutant avec d'autres clients de l'auberge, nous ne sommes pas les seuls.
