I stayed at Posada La Fe at the end of January. The hotel is on one of the most popular streets in the Getsemani neighborhood of Cartagena. The hotel is extremely clean, has a nice aesthetic, plus really nice toiletries. I really like the decor in the room with beautiful art of Cartagena. The staff are very nice and made me feel at home. As other reviewers mentioned, the hotel cleaning/breakfast staff mostly speak Spanish but will make every effort to understand you and help you if your Spanish is limited like mine. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a view of the city. Also, there are loungers on the rooftop. In addition, there are a few beautiful sitting areas. I love the open concept of the hotel. Despite the open concept, I didn’t see any bugs. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and had enough options to keep me satisfied for my three night stay. The street comes a live at night with street performers and the surrounding restaurants/bars with outdoor seating right next to the hotel. However, from my ground floor room I didn’t hear any significant noise. The music from the street was extremely faint and I could sleep without earplugs. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to stay here again when I return to Cartagena.

Posada La Fe is set in the heart of Getsemani so you get a real Cartagena-ian experience. The hussle and bustle of the little street outside the hotel comes alive in the evening with South American music being played, pick up a cocktail and sit and enjoy. The hotel itself is very nice. Finished very well and extremely comfortable. The staff were amazing and always on hand for help or for a very good breakfast. If you're looking for somewhere for a city break, this is it!!

Having stayed in a hostel, I decided to have my last night in Cartagena and Colombia somewhere a bit more comfortable. Some friends had stayed at the Posada La Fe a few years ago and it came highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to arrange a taxi. As my flight wasn't till the evening, they let me check-out a little later and then allowed me to come back and get changed/freshened up. Breakfast was delicious and of good quality. The bedroom was a lovely size, quaint and the bed very comfortable. There was also a lovely little rooftop pool. The hotel is on a very busy, fun street but it wasn't noisy at all - more like a peaceful, calm environment. I'd recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena and would return.

This hotel and the hosts were so wonderful! Right in the action of the city but you'd never know - it's an oasis of calm. The rooms are extremely comfortable, you might have to tear yourself away from them to ensure you enjoy the city. And everyone was so helpful when we needed help with taxis, printing flight documents, holding bags, etc. we can't recommend them enough.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Posada La Fe thanks to the kindness and attention of Yolanda, Gladis and Gregoria who treat their guests with great care. The inn is perfectly located to visit Cartegena easily on foot and at the same time it is very calm because of the night The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need, and tastefully decorated

The small posada is in the middle of the action in Getsemani. I stayed here twice during my stay in Colombia and stayed in different rooms. Both rooms were very clean and well equipped. There is also a kettle in the rooms. You can spend pleasant hours on the well-designed terraces and the small pool provides some refreshment. A big plus of this posada are the two housekeepers Yolanda and Elsy, who are available to answer any questions and lovingly look after their guests. A clear recommendation for Cartagena.

Nice little hotel with few rooms (new, super clean and decorated with very good taste). The best is Yolanda, the housekeeper. She makes you feel at home, she cheers you up, she prepares whatever you want for breakfast and it's delicious (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, sandwiches, etc.). He is super sweet, kind, helpful. The hotel is on a street that is very busy at night and can be scary. But don't worry, it is completely soundproof from the inside. He sleeps perfectly.
