My daughter and I had a fantastic experience at the Goodlife Hostel cooking class. Chef Omar and host Nelson were amazing. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this cooking class to everyone. Great vibes, food, and drinks.

We actually did the cooking class and it was 5 star amazing. Carlos and Raul took the time to explain everything and made the experience so unique. We did take the time to see an empty room before leaving, so we will definitely come back and stay.

Raul (host) and Carlos (chef) were AMAZING! Fun and tasty experience. I hadn’t taken a cooking class in many years and would recommend to everyone. Definitely 5 star experience. We also got to see a hostel room too and I’d totally stay in the future.

Amazing experience to learn how to prepare an authentic Colombian meal. In a beautiful rooftop setting, using fresh local ingredients, hands on creating a delicious meal! Looking forward to make this for my friends & family back home! Gracias LIFE IS GOOD!

We attended the cooking class, where we made a welcome drink, a beautiful dinner with wine and a dessert. We just stumbled across the place while strolling through Cartagena and we thought it would be fun — and it was. The manager and the cook could not have been nicer or more engaging. Highly recommended!!

The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. The location is nice, you are in 2min in the middle of Getsemaní and in 10min in the city centre. Everything was clean and fully functioning. The breakfast is lovely!

Second time staying here, staff treats you like family, like the decor of the place (they converted a colonial house but kept the original materials and design). Context= back in 2022, I was going to stay here for a bit and ended up being 2 months... (tells you all you need to know) Breakfast (quality) is included, much quieter than other hotels in the area = better sleep at night! Also purified water/coffee free, which saves some $$ as you can't drink the tap water in Cartagena (other hotels I have to keep buying bottles). For socializing and meeting people, can always go to Selina rooftop nearby or cafes in Getsemani neighborhood, then return to Life is Good for the peace.
