Carson City Plaza Hotel

It is an older property but well maintained w great staff. We stayed in a king suite with sitting room and kitchenette. Lots of room. Liked it so much we stayed another day. The staff is really helpful and friendly. No frills for sure and the coffee is not great but it is clean, the rooms quiet and seems safe. Easy location to get around town and back on 395.

When you go to Lake Tahoe, the hotel is economical and the car stops at the door of the room. The little brother at the front desk was very nice. The toilet in our room was leaking. I told the front desk, and someone came to repair it. The hotel is ok.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carson City

The Hotel is across from Carson Tahoe Hospital, with my mother in the hospital, I had an 8 day stay. Caitlin was a jewel at the front desk. The king room is large with desk, window, comfy bed, pillows and linens, lounge sofa, microwave, refrigerator and large bathroom. There are washer and dryers for guests and they sell laundry soap, a snack area to purchase drinks and food. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and desk area in the lobby with computers and printers. There is plenty of parking and they allow pets. I usually stay at the Hilton, but wanted to be close to my mom's hospital, they made my stay nice with no worries. The facility is very clean.
Days Inn by Wyndham Carson City

Carson City is in the depths of the mountains. It took nine hours to get from the Las Vegas trucks. The road passed through Area 51. It was lonely and lonely all the way. The first time I drove the car to speed, I could run the highest Camry. 110 mph, change to kilometers per hour is about 170 kilometers per hour, and then can no longer speed up, has been stepping on the gas pedal is also the first speed and then speed up, into the Carson City, various mountain roads, really in the mountains, It took almost two hours to enter the mountain. All kinds of corners were caught by the traffic police on the spot and opened a yellow single. The hotel was very close to the Moonlight Bunny Manor, which was very good. The mountain was really cold, and it was air-conditioned for one night.
Motel 6 Carson City, NV

Checked in for a couple of weeks while I had a job in town. The gal at the counter sent me to a room in the back. Strong odor of urine like a care facility but the overpowering smell of green-bud from the last tenant was the deal breaker. The smashed fiberglass shower floor was also a deal breaker. Back to the front counter. Office staff was helpful and let me look at another room before I committed. Asked for a room next to the office (I figured drug dealers would not want to stay there). That room was clean and tidy. spotless bathroom. Nice little fridge too. The only real detractor was I could hear everything going on in the room next to me through the locked interior door which would attach 2 rooms into one. If I had neighbors who stayed up late I needed to leave my TV on for gray-noise so I could sleep. Other than that, it was a convenient and clean place to crash while working in town.
Hardman House

The hotel is rustic/historic so it is not kept to the same standards as some surrounding hotels. I believe it was built in 1977, so it does have some issues. The room itself is nice, comes with a hair dryer, ironing board, microwave, and fridge. It has a shower/tub combo, great for little kids. They offered free WiFi and breakfast. We didn’t ask about breakfast due to COVID, but other reviews said they had a brown bag of a few items. The staff was friendly and great when we had to interact with any. We did have a kid above us that ran back and forth and jumped for about and hour and a half so it was hard to get the kids to sleep with the noise (I never complain unless I need to, but we did have to call about the kid jumping on the bed and the staff was great at handling it).. There is a small parking garage under the motel, maybe 15 spots available. We would stay here again. There are pros and cons of this motel. PRO: The room was clean, great size for my husband, myself, and 2 small kids. Some amenities, right in downtown Carson City so many local places you can walk to if wanted. CONS: The shower is not really meant for anyone taller than 5’7”. I am 5’6” and I can touch the ceiling and the shower head is perfect height for me, someone around 6' might not get much of their head wet. Under the bed wasn’t vacuumed very well, found some crumbs, play fingernails, and a laminated photo of a kid. The WiFi didn’t connect for us and most of the tv stations were unavailable due to an interruption in service
