Even though the hotel is not in Gijon city center, you can catch the train to Gijon that runs every 30 minutes if you don't have a car. The train station is right outside the backdoor of the hotel. Also there is a beautiful park and camping ground near the station.
The room is pretty big and the bed is quite comfortable . Surprisingly, the breakfast has many items including bread, cake, cold cut, cheese, fruits, yogurt, juice and coffee. The dinner is also quite good and at very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel if visiting Gijon area.

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel del 3 al 5 de agosto, el hotel muy bien situado para visitar Oviedo y Gijón y al lado del mar con un paseo muy agradable hasta el pueblo de Candás, tiene párking gratis en el recinto. La habitación muy antigua le falta una reforma. Hemos pasado mucho calor al estar en la última planta y por la situación y la temperatura alta, no teníamos acondicionado ni ventilador. Para estar bien había que estar fuera del hotel para estar frescos. La limpieza mut bien

Un hotel de tres estrellas normal para pasar unos dias.Por decir algo que no me gusto es que no tiene aire acondicionado en las habitaciones,y el dia de la llegada hacia un calor infernal en la habitacion ,otra cosa que no me gusto es el poco espacio de parking que tiene si vas un poco tarde a la noche puede que no tengas parking.Las instalaciones en si quizas un poco desfasadas,la apertura de la habitacion se hace con la llave de toda la vida la de hierro en vez de tener la tipica tarjeta .En cuanto al personal de 10 tanto en la recepcion como en la cafeteria y restaurante.Sobre la comida decir que el desayuno tipo bufet normal bastante variedad pero no cuenta con un cocinero que te pueda hacer un par de huevos fritos al momento .el menu de la comida no puedo decir por que hemos pasado los dias fuera pero la cena dispones de carta o platos conbinados estos ultimos a unbuen precio.

Ten eerste er staat Gijon maar het ligt in de "middle of nowhere" en op 19 min rijden met de auto van Gijon!!!!!! De kamer en bed zijn behoorlijk klein plus naast een spoorlijn. Hotel is verouderd heeft geen faciliteiten. Het ontbijt is goed. Ze houden alleen iedereen goed in de gaten, ze zijn bang dat je iets teveel eet/drinkt en wat wilt meenemen. Ze spreken je ook aan. Dat voelde voor ons niet relaxed en erg vreemd.

Nosotros nos alojamos en las cabañas, las cuales están bastante bien. He de decir que en verano, hace demasiado calor en las cabañas, alcanzando los 35/40 grados en su interior, y ala hora de ir a encender el aire acondicionado, has de emprender una mágica aventura hasta la recepción para coger dicho mando el cual maneja semejante aparato ruidoso productor de aire frío. Quitando eso, el hotel en muy buenas condiciones, limpio, y solamente quitando el desayuno, el cual no era muy bueno, el hotel está bien.

No se lo recomiendo a nadie, es horrible. Acabamos de abrir la puerta de la habitación y huele a pis, toda la habitación huele a cañería, la terraza está sucia y hay polvo hasta en las mesillas. El baño huele fatal, la escobilla del wc está meada por otro huésped anterior y huele todo el servicio. Los artículos de aseo súper escasos. Fatal, fatal fatal, les pongo un 1 por que no hay menos puntos, que asco de sitio, que sucio, que viejo y que todo. Menos mal que solo vamos a estar una noche, si no bajaba a pedir el dinero e irme a otro sitio. Encima no podemos dejar la ventana abierta para que ventile por qué las terrazas de los de al lado están comunicadas a la nuestra y ya viendo lo visto a saber. LIMPIEZA POR FAVOR Y REFORMA, si queréis llegar a algún sitio con este supuesto hotel, que esto es una pensión de peregrinos.
