"A typical cottage, the house provides hot air, and it is very warm and comfortable in the north of Scotland at about 10 degrees. The house and bathroom are layered, so you need to go up and down, but they are all used independently and there is no problem. The bathroom also has hot air and can even change laundry. The yard is the owner's own, parking is convenient, and there are electric car charging piles, very advanced.
The location is excellent, it is a famous resort area in the Highlands, surrounded by several places to hike. This B&B is 2 miles to the nearest national reserve, and the ones that are a little further are also 10 miles. You can even run two places a day. When I lived, I met a few Danes next door who also came hiking. But they didn't even drive and walked straight to the hiking point.
The house owner is very enthusiastic and will introduce the house situation and usage in detail. It is a pity that I adjusted the 4-hour time difference, which means that I finished breakfast at 5 am in the local area and could not eat the breakfast provided by the store. But at that time, when you go out, you can directly see the big deer with the deer into the yard, which is a different flavor.
Very good B&B, looking forward to coming back next time."
"My Mum and I stayed here for a night, we wanted something special and we had a lovely experience! This hotel may be old but I felt that was part of the charm, especially because you can pick up a paper at the desk which tells you all about the history of it (including how Mae West had a room there!).
The man at reception was lovely, as were the bar staff, and we had a great sleep in a cozy, nicely themed room with a great bathtub. My Mum especially appreciated the Bible being left in the bedside table as well. That may have been done by a guest but it was nice that the staff left it there nonetheless in case somebody wanted to read it. There were a number of little touches like that, and we had a garden view which was lovely.
Also the breakfast was included in our booking, and well worth it! I'd recommend this stay for anyone looking to have a nice night in the Scottish countryside!"

"The hotel was easy to find, located right by the main road. The rooms were quite small, and with luggage, the space felt a bit tight. However, there was a small outdoor balcony with a table and two chairs, which provided a nice spot to sit and eat.
The rooms looked modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring sleek black tiles and gold fixtures, and the hot water worked perfectly. One of the best features of the room was the separate sink area, along with a microwave and fridge. This was especially convenient for heating up food or enjoying ready-to-eat meals from the nearby Aldi if you’re too tired to head out. The room also came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and even a chocolate wafer as a thoughtful welcome touch.
There is no reception desk at this hotel, so it’s important to have internet access as check-in is fully digital. You’ll receive your room number via email just before your arrival. Make sure to complete the online pre-check-in to confirm your stay and receive further instructions.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient one-night stay."

"The all-inclusive resort hotel is convenient for skiing, but the rooms are relatively old, the resort facilities are very good, and the service staff are busy and almost hard to contact"
"The hotel is in the heart of the town and is in a particularly good location. The hotel's Western food is especially delicious, steak and roast chicken are very good. The breakfast is also very rich and very satisfying."
"The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. Top range 3 star at best. The room was clean. It was advertised as a king sized bed, however putting 2 single beds together is very misleading.
The Italian restaurant, the staff are nice but the service is very very slow. Took me an hour to get food. The location is ideal. The sports centre is good and spacious. The pool is good fun. The gym needs a complete modernisation program. Not enough equipment and in a very small room. The sports centre could utiltse space more effectively and have a state of the art gym in the other bigger rooms. It would be used well, however this is sadly not the case. I will return and use this hotel in the future. The price is not cheep and if your expecting Hilton quality then this is not the hotel for you."
