This is the perfect place to stay in Carrara. Corrado is hospitable, friendly, and responsive. He welcomed us when we arrived and escorted us to our room, after giving us a tour of the facilities, which included a well-stocked common area which also had treats and drinks. You can prepare meals in the common area and eat them at the table there while enjoying the view of the mountains. The bed was comfortable, and the spacious room was sunny with curtains that help darken the room for sleep. The parking was right across the street. We were able to see our car from our room. The complimentary breakfast was a quick walk away with delicious pastries/coffee and friendly service.

I spent a day and a night in Carrara, and La Bottega d’Arte was the perfect accommodation: clean, very comfortable, in the center of the city. The kitchen next to the room contained everything to make a coffee or eat a piece of chocolate! And Corrado, the owner, gives excellent pieces of advice.

I spent a total of three nights here while exploring this part of Italy by bike. I had my reservations about booking at first, because I’m used to seeking accommodation in youth hostels, but if the money is not an issue I am convinced this place will give you bang for your buck and then some. Let me first talk about the room I stayed in itself. This was very comfortable; a large and comfy bed, comfy chairs, a bathtub, bathrobes, hairdryer, airconditioning, and television are all provided in the room itself. The remotes were wrapped in plastic to make it extra clean and corona-safe, which came on top of the already impressive cleanliness in the rest of the room. Additionally , I loved having a view of the surrounding mountains from my window. Other than the room itself, this B&B provides a kitchen/dining room you can use (with complementary fruits/snacks/bread/drinks), and a garage in case you cone by car or bike or motorcycle (or heck, even your skateboard could go there if you just ask for it). The location is wonderfully central in the old town of Carrara, not even a minute’s walk away from the beautiful Piazza Alberica one way, and an Esselunga supermarket the other. It’s not fat towards the surrounding mountains and marble quarries. I suppose for tourists who visit this region in the summer just for the beaches, options that are closer to the beaches are also available, but for people looking for a calm and beautiful private place to relax, this is a great option. Lastly I should give my compliments to the host, who has been friendly, hospitable, helpful, attentive, easy to reach and communicate with, and as a bonus quite good at speaking english. I will remember this place fondly, partially thanks to him.

Definitely the best B&B in Carrara! Three bedrooms furnished with great taste by Corrado, architect and antique dealer. They are all very quiet, air-conditioned with beautiful adjoining bathrooms. Breakfast is included and is taken in a nearby bar or pastry shop. You can park opposite in the video-monitored car park of the town hall.

The owners were very kind and gave us the room even after the scheduled time. Great toiletries. Cleaning. Free use of the kitchen (shared with other rooms). A beautiful restorative silence, despite the structure being in an ancient building in the city. Parking very close (but remember to pay the parking ticket). Breakfast is outside the structure within walking distance, and there is the possibility of choosing between the Martinelli pastry shop (ATTENTION IT IS CLOSED ON TUESDAY) or the LEOND'ORO bar in Piazza Cesare Battisti (courtesy, quality and good location).

Booked for 2 in a lovely room with ample space . A beautiful fireplace and a bright bathroom as well as being clean. A tub that looks like it used to be. In addition, a kitchen available with everything needed to make a small snack. Two weeks guest of the very kind Corrado Lattanzi. The structure is connected to an antique shop and is in fact very old. Going up the stairs you can breathe an air of other times which the 3 bedrooms, one more beautiful than the other, confirm. The price-quality ratio is certainly excellent, also considering that in the shared kitchenette you can always find snacks and drinks for breakfast, as well as the one that can be made by presenting the voucher in 2 Carrara bars (one is in Piazza Alberica and the view of the place sipping coffee or cappuccino is also good for the spirit)
