We were traveling by bicycle and the lady at the reception told us to leave our bicycles there for them to be safe. We wanted to leave at 6am and the whole place was closed and reception locked from the inside with no way to retrieve our bikes. We called their mobile numbers and were told no one could help we would have to wait 3h until 9am... Very poor service when we told the lady at reception we didn't want breakfast because we were leaving very early at 6am and even asked where we could leave the keys for checkout.
This delayed our trip on 3 hours which mean we only arrived at out destination late at night

Lovely room. Comfy beds. Would be nice if they had a sign in English saying to go to the restaurant instead of just a phone number, as the hotel doors were locked.
I speak little French and the person on the phone spoke little English. Luckily there was someone with them who could help out. Very lovely place and very nice people once we figured out how to communicate.

Good position in the centre of the city, not far from the Megalithic sites and the city museum. The staff was nice. Simple location, the rooms were big and clean. The breakfast was good, but not so abundant. It is perfect for tourists who want to visit the city in a few days.

No check in before 3pm means NO SERVICE before 3pm. Door was locked, no sign, no bell, no one answers the phone. We waited a while on a dirty street with bags and kids and then gave up and got another hotel. We went back the next day to ask for a refund but we were refused. Apparently the hotel has fallen on hard times during covid and they couldn’t afford to refund our money eventhough we didn’t stay there and no one had been there to let us in. Not sure with the combination of zero compassion, bad service and difficult market conditions, that the hotel will be in operation much longer. Anyway, best avoided.

The location was excellent. The room was perfect for us as it was large, quiet and with 3 comfortable beds. We appreciated the breakfast. I enjoyed the large bathtub.

AWESOME. You can come to this hotel with your eyes closed. Everything is perfect, starting with the place in the center of old Carnac, easy and free parking and in the times that run in the shade 150m from the hotel. The hotel restaurant and the breakfasts are excellent. Lunch on the terrace rather a patio is so pleasant in the morning. The boss and the boss are young but she kindness and they go out of their way for their customers. And finally the team around them is just great, only young people, polite, friendly and available. You are a wonderful team, we love you and ladies and gentlemen travellers, forget the luxury of big hotels, come to the hotel restaurant, La Marine. Jp and Murielle. 6 days of happiness with you. Goodbye.
