It was evident that the hostel has not recovered from the pandemic. At the time of our stay the pool and bar/cafe were not open. Our very small bedroom was reasonably comfortable for our two night stay but the bedside light didn't work and the shower head holder was broken. There was no safe, fridge, or wardrobe in the bedroom, nor any tea and coffee making facility. The whole hotel has a very run down atmosphere. The location is good for visiting the historic area. The parking areas are quite a long way from the hostel.

El ruido hasta las 22:30 es insoportable. Una de las camas no tenía ni sábanas ni edredón y no pudimos encontrar mantas. Y lo que es inadmisible una mancha enorme de moho y humedad que había en el colchón. Intentamos localizar al personal pero fue imposible, a la mañana siguiente al comentarlo nos contestaron ‘pues lo siento’ y se acabó. Una vergüenza.

Buen sitio para descansar, céntrico, un edificio bastante bonito, habitación espaciosa y con mucha luz. Zona de aparcamiento cercana. El trato de Antonio estupendo, una experiencia a repetir y totalmente aconsejable.

Carmona ist erneut wieder der Höhepunkt unserer Andalusienreise - die Stadt ist beeindruckend mit langer und lebendiger Gesichte - ohne zugleich vom Tourismus überlaufen zu sein. Das Hotel Frenteabastos liegt direkt am historischen Zentrum, das Gebäude stammt aus maurischer Zeit und ist sehr behutsam modernisiert worden - alle Zimmer haben eine einmalige Atmosphäre. Wie in ganz Carmona hat man im Hotel das Gefühl, dass die Zeit stehen geblieben ist und die Geschichte lebt ....

Das Hotel könnte leicht 5 Punkte erreichen. Das Gebäude ist einzigartig, voller Geschichte und wunderschön. Maurische Innenhöfe, tiefe Brunnen, uraltes Mauerwerk - und schöne Zimmer. Was fehlt ist ein wenig Kundenorientierung, Liebe und Pflege. Trotzdem ein toller Aufenthalt mitten in Carmona
