Hotel location is good, just next to the main block, walking to the beach is a downhill road for 20 minutes, the beach is good to watch the sunset, the main street is full of shops and restaurants. I stayed at this hotel many years ago and it felt pretty good at the time. But when I went back this time, I felt there was a big gap. The room facilities are old and the soundproofing is not good. Maybe it's because I thought about it for too long. Next time I stay in Carmel, I will definitely choose another restaurant.
