DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!
the first time i experienced bed bugs was in a £2.50/n hostel in indonesia. the second time… in this £90/n “3 star” hotel! and this time was so much worse because there were so many of them and massive!! they got on to my bags and belongings and i ended up spending 2 days washing all my clothes and treating all my belongings instead of sightseeing in the city.
i made a formal complaint to the receptionist the next day and they encouraged me to report it to the melbourn city health authority because apparently mine wasnt the first case.
the city health authority did a spot check on them the day i checked out and since then, the hotel had refused to release my $100 room bond and ignored my emails.
they are truly ridiculous, the physical irritation and mental stress they put me through. holiday ruined.
SO DO NOT STAY THERE AND BE THE NEXT VICTIM!

The reasonable price and able to walk to Flinder street station. Good for family trip. Many restaurants nearby hotel, but a bit noisy at night.

I booked this hotel near to my daughter as a last night in Melbourne. Looked at the pictures but not the reviews. When I walked into the room it was awful.
We went back down to ask where the room in the picture was but the man on reception couldn’t help us. We asked several times to speak to his manager, but he said she was in meeting . No I wouldn’t stay here again
The first picture is what is advertised the next 3 are the room we were given!

Ok so they need to put photos of the type of room you will get. Not just photos of the largest room in the newer section of the hotel. The room was small and dated . The bathroom had a large chunk of paint peeling off the wall from a water leak above and an unsecured toilet seat. The mattress was of cheap quality and way too soft for 2 people.

The apartment was so bad. There are so many cockroaches in the apartment. They were everywhere: bed, fridge, floor and even my child’s bottle!
