Great location for a stop, as we were on our way to Scotland. We arrived to hotel around 4pm! Checked in, room was nice & clean. We had dinner and it was good value to money, bonus was kids ate for free! Also the following morning breakfast, full English!! Friendly staff and very helpful.

The best part of my stay was the staff! they are amazing and a real credit to the company. Magic and David were fab, helping me with all my requests! I could see it was busy in the restaurant, food was good, drinks even better love the new cocktails 🍹 Breakfast in the morning was good Summer and Maisie were lovely.

I took advantage of the meal deal 26/5/2025. The quality of the evening meal was very poor. I should have drawn the issue to the staff at the time but as it was late evening and, I was hungry and tired, I didn't. There was nothing about the meal that suggested that it came from a professional kitchen or even a caring one. The mushroom starter was hard baked on the outside and the inside there was nothing that resembled or tasted of mushroom. The main course, creamy chicken and pulled ham pie was so so dry that the large quantity of breadcrumbs inside weren't even moist. The peas had obviously been under a heat source long enough to dry the uppermost ones and turn them light grey. The chips were overcooked, a few to the point of being burnt, and all so that they were crisp all the way through. The sticky toffee pudding sat in a pool of melted ice-cream. To call the establishment a restaurant is ridiculous. At best it's a second rate canteen.

I’ve been staying here due to my work commitments and I have to say that it is a mixed experience but overall the staff are nice and helpful, the rooms are what you need and the food is, on the whole, good. The food service has been variable but the staff have always been apologetic and courteous so no major complaints. Had a very tasty steak meal which surprised me so hats off to the chef for doing a great job. It’s a Premier Inn, you get what you expect from Premier Inn and for this site it has improved ten fold since I was last here a year or so ago. Keep up the good work.

Very good bedrooms which were both clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the restaurant is in major need of an upgrade. The menu is very poor, expensive and in desperate need of an upgrade. We like many other guests chose to eat out at local establishments which provided far more choice at a better price.

Along with Parkmaven a bad experience, registration for cars does not work now have a parking fine. The shower mixer did not work stuck on red hot, wife has ended up scalded . Breakfast hot food was stone cold and definitely wasn’t worth paying the extra

as with any Premier Inn you know what to expect in terms of the standard of he rooms, and this was no different. However this particular location has its own integral restaurant and bar, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The menu, although not extensive, is easily on a par with the likes of Brewers Fayre or Harvester, but the food is so much better, quality not just quantity. Very reasonably priced too, this was my first visit to the town and I was expecting to explore the local eateries, but in the end I realised I had a good choice without leaving the building! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and this evening I was served by two lovely ladies, Catalina and Alison, whose smiles and demeanour inspired me to write this review, something I never normally do. Top marks Premier Inn for employing such wonderful staff! I look forward to my next visit.

Good clean room , wifi good . Only downside having to clamber in and out of a bath to have a shower! Almost nobody has a bath , most shower ,so why not walking showers ! Just an accident waiting to happen. The staff were welcoming and efficient on check in.
