From the moment we arrived, our stay was just perfect. So relaxed, peaceful and quiet, amazing service and such attention to detail. We really did feel at home. Gorgeous setting and very welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a break away to book. We met Val the owner in the evening and she was so friendly and wanted to make sure we felt comfortable in our stay. There is an honesty bar in the lounge and she made sure we had ice and our preference of drink for when we returned later in the evening. We felt as though we were her personal guests because she was so attentive and friendly. The whole place is relaxed and very well looked after. The rooms were very well fitted out and warm and cosy. Breakfast was superb and again such attention to detail. We had a lovely walk around the grounds to the walled garden and the bee hives. If you're looking for great service, a relaxed and comfortable setting in a gorgeous Country home, quality and friendliness and something that a lot of places just don't seem to offer anymore, then just book1. We stayed in the `New Room" which had a massive bay window with the most amazing view over the river Eden. We shall be back and thank you to all the staff who went out of their way to look after us. A real gem. Val, we will be back and thank you! x

What a wonderful place to stay ! We stopped here on our journey from Scotland to home in the South of England and wished we could have stayed much longer than the one night. We occupied the spacious corner room which had everything we could have wanted, including a huge bath, plus loads of space for our dog. Dinner was three courses of delightful food, beautifully cooked and breakfast was just as good. Best of all was our walk directly from the garden, down along the river in the fresh morning air with an autumnal covering of crackly leaves. Thank you for your warm hospitality and the opportunity to share your amazing home.

This is our second stay here as we loved it so much the first time. Warm welcome, beautiful grounds, gorgeous rooms in a traditional country mansion. There is a walk along the salmon river to the fishing hut before you return to the sitting room with a real fire and a G&T at the honesty bar. We loved exploring the wildness of the walled garden with bee hives (you can buy the honey back in the house) and free range chickens and raspberry bushes laden with big, fat fruit! Our dinner was terrific, limited choice but tasty and beautifully cooked, with probably the best steak pie we’ve ever had! Warwick Hall isn’t shabby chic and curated like numerous hotel chains, but a genuinely luxurious, welcoming B&B with five star service.

A fabulous place to stay, the room was lovely, a little tired in some places but overall very clean and everything worked, we loved the breakfast and had dinner on one night and cannot fault it, my own personal thing would be to have music, not meaning a disco or anything but piped music, it was to quiet for me personally but the food was delicious, overall a brilliant place and beautiful gardens.

I recently had an overnight stay and as usual the room and dinner was excellent. However there was an emergency, the boiler totally failed and despite the efforts of a team of plumbers it could not be replaced until the next day. The problem was explained to the guests by the owner with an apology and although we had to miss a morning shower no great damage was done. When I came to pay my bill there was a VERY generous discount.

My husband and I got an afternoon tea voucher for a present, Warwick Hall is a beautiful building and Ellen the receptionist come a lot of other titles is a lovely friendly and helpful person. We had a lovely afternoon tea, then a really nice walk on the estate to finish off with. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much ☺️

Such a wonderful stay at Warwick Hall. We only were able to stay one night and wished we could stay longer. Warwick Hall is a beautiful country house B & B. We had the Birdies Suite overlooking the river. This was a one bedroom suite with a comfy, home feel. There is a beautiful flat trail that we did the day we arrived that follows the river. A nice walk, complete with visiting the Walled Garden along the way. We had both dinner and then breakfast too. Both were delicious and wonderful meals. Thank you Ellen for your kind assistance with all during our quick stay! We hope to be back again for longer, one day soon : )

We stayed at Warwick Hall recently on our way to and from Scotland. It is so convenient for the M6 for transiting guests, but also ideally located for visiting Cumbria and The Lakes. This imposing country house hotel is a real gem, situated in beautiful grounds and providing guests with a real insight into the decadent lifestyles enjoyed by 18th Century & Victorian aristocracy. We stayed in The New Room, a huge space with panoramic views out over the gardens to the River Eden and the hills beyond. The room was very comfortable, well appointed with a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and large bath. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and particularly important was the fact that our little spaniel could stay in the room with us! In fact the whole establishment was incredibly doggie friend. The staff too, not to mention Rhubarb the resident pooch who instantly became friends with our boy. We dined in on the evenings of our stay, and we were really impressed with the menu choice and indeed the food itself. The whole experience was exceptional and worthy of any good restaurant. The breakfast was equally good, (we had the Full English) and again there was a good choice. As with the room, our dog was welcome to accompany us in the dining room, for which we were very grateful. The grounds are beautiful and there is a very pleasant riverside walk, ideal for dogs. All in all, a great experience, and we will return soon !!
