Room were extremely spacious and sleeping was Very comfortable. Polite friendly Accommodating staff. Personalized custom prepared Great breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere easy parking. Walk to many local restaurants. Easy check in / check out.

The room was clean and quiet. We parked right beside our room. We were served a delicious Breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly. I would stay in the Carlisle House Hotel again. We appreciated the beverages left for us in the refrigerator.

We stayed one night in the Rose Room. It is just gorgeous and very comfortable. My only complaint - which can’t be helped - is that the front of the house gets a lot of street noise. (This was a Friday night.) Paul made a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. Location is wonderful and parking is easy and secure. We would return!

Much more personal than a chain hotel, with superior service and outstanding breakfast, why stay anywhere else while in Carlisle? Innskeepers Paul and Chloe were charming, accommodating and so very friendly. Clean room, perfect central location within walking distance of everything. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

I’ve been to Carlisle house a few times now and it is always great! It’s so homey and beautiful. The rose room is my favorite. The breakfast is so yummy too and the everyone is so nice. Carlisle is a cute little town. 10/10 recommend visiting for a night or a few

The place is lovely and beautifully kept. The house is a piece of history. We stayed in the Blair Room, with our own back door to the parking lot and a door to the porch. The room was spacious with an alcove with a coffeemaker and a fridge. Right outside the room is a sitting room with a kitchen, couches, table and chairs, a TV, and shelves of books. I especially appreciated having a recycling bin ( first time ever in all the places we stayed) and real ( not styrofoam) coffee cups. The breakfast was delicious with a different kind of quiche each day, fruit , and a piece of cake. We enjoyed the company of others who were staying there. We were close to town and a bunch of great restaurants, as well as stores, a park, and Dickinson College. We really enjoyed Carlisle, and would stay at the Carlisle House anytime.

We stayed at Carlisle house in the Hayes suite rooms were very clean and the bed slept so good!! We came up for the car show and it was just a few minutes away from the Carlisle house then we walked the historic downtown where they had so many shops and eating places. The breakfast was amazing. Paul did excellent on the quiche!! We will definitely be going back ,so welcoming thank you Paul

We come once a year to attend a classic car show, and for the past 2 years we stayed at Carlisle House. Both of our stays were less than perfect weekends due to rain. However, being located right in the middle of the events, restaurants, and shops made it easy to still have a great time. The B&B itself is wonderful with extremely nice furnishings and a welcoming environment. Everyone who works there is friendly and down to earth. The breakfast is always great. Will book again next year for sure.

The room was light and large and comfortable and quiet. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The TV was straight forward and had all the channels we expected. The breakfasts were quiches with juices and coffee. Location is all and The Carlisle House is adjacent to downtown and adjacent to Dickinson College.
