We booked this place as it was the nearest to the venue for a surprise party for some friends of ours who live nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and first impressions of the site and accommodation were good. We stayed in a two storey terraced property with pleasant views over the lake and towards the distant Pyrenees. While perfectly clean and comfortable virtually everything was of the minimum possible standard. All the kitchen utensils and cutlery were cheap and flimsy, no decorative touches whatsoever and they even locked the door to the second bedroom as we had only booked for 2 people! As for the basic supplies they were laughable! One partially used toilet roll per toilet, 1 ancient dishwasher tablet and approximately 25ml of washing up liquid ! And the one complimentary soap in the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. In addition the WiFi didn’t work - when I enquired the reception staff said it was sometimes unreliable and possibly we were out of range? (there was a router in the living area that was turned on but clearly not connected ). Would also have been useful for them to let us know the entry code for the gates as we did not realise they were locked at night - lucky we found a gap in the fence or we would have had to sleep by the lake!
