We only took advantage of the camping area and did not stay in any of the rooms. I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed, but as campers we cooked our own. We camped right on the water and enjoyed the views. Good fishing there too! Down the road at Bridge Lake Store, they make some great food to go. Not sure if every night, but we had their version of Shawarma and it was delish! It's a different special each night, as we understood it.

Many misrepresentations and omissions on their website: No restaurant (why don't they update that on the website?), water in cabins not potable (No mention on website or at check in!), Giant sign saying "Cappuccinos"led me to think a nice morning coffee would be available- nope don't do that either. Kitchens poorly stocked. I just don't think the owners understand or care about being good hosts. Too bad. Could be so much better. Beautiful spot.

We spent two nights with our RV at the campground standing on the shores of the lake in a very scenic setting. Very friendly owners. One day we rented canoes and made a beautiful trip on the lake. I would highly recommend them if you want to be one with nature!

My family of 5 enjoyed one night at lac des roches on our way through and immediately wished we had booked more days there. The owners are amazing, real salt of the earth, kind and down to earth people who made sure our stay was fantastic. My kids caught countless fish, toads and other critters and were entertained the entire time. The cabin, is rustic but charming. We went expecting a fishing cabin and that's what we got. People leaving negative reviews, I'm at a loss.. there are going to be bugs, its clearly rustic, it's not the 4 seasons. Although the night before, we slept at a hyatt and my sleep was 10x better in the cabin. If you're looking for an amazing view, lots of fish and family memories this is the place for you! My kids are already asking when we are going back! Thanks Laura and Luca for an amazing stay!

Pictures do not say it all. The cabins were disgusting. The one bedroom cabin the toilet was in a closet. Screens were taped in place. Rooms smelt musty. Bring your own coffee cups and utensils. In the off season or slow season do upgrading to furniture instead of having old smelly furniture. Pressure wash the cabins. It is a beautiful spot. To bad the up keep of the cabins is awful. You are better off bringing your own trailer and rent a spot.

They don't bother telling you that they cannot accommodate slightly mentally challenged, my clients need help in the bathroom, IMPOSSIBLE to fit 2 people, u have to drag your belonging quite aways, that was fun ne being I my 60's and 2 challenged ladys ..... couch was held together by a coat hanger and a LG screw, luckily I found that out before my girls sat on it cause they would have fallen threw and this knows what the hangers and screw would have stuck in, there legs probably, and that's just the main horrible things, we had no choice but to leave , it was unsafe and not suitable at all for my clients, but they refused to refund THEIR money, and I stupidly booked for end the of July won't refund that to them either, stole basically $800 + of there money, if they can't accommodate all forms if people they need to have that on there site, I'm asking all of you that think my ladys deserve there money back please put in a review but most of all call them and verbally tell them they deserve there money, it's not at all there fault that they simply could not stay there, maybe just maybe they might get it back it time for me to still bring them out in the summer, but without getting there money chances are slim they will get much more our if summer except day things no more camping like they love and look forward to every summer, please help them out and call, thank you

I’ll try to keep it brief - dirty, run down, dangerous wiring, no window screens (and no windows period), non-potable water, crappy plumbing and fixtures, thrift shop kitchen ware. 1970s appliances (I’m being generous with the date, some were probably old in the 70s). It’s worth mentioning the good parts - nice lake, reasonably quiet. There appeared to be an attempt at making the place presentable, but it feels like they just gave up. Too bad, the location has potential, but really needs a major overhaul. This is not a lake for sunbathing and swimming, it’s a fishing lake. That said, either make it a rustic fishing resort or go all in and make it a destination resort. Trying to polish a turd like this just doesn’t work. Too expensive to be a fishing camp, too run down to be a proper resort. Just has a sad, dying feel to it, like an old downtown hotel - greet expectations by someone but they just don’t have the ability or resources to make it work.

My wife and I rented a cabin over the Easter long weekend. We had to park away from the cabin and trudge through the snow because no one had done any snow removal near the cabin (even though the rest of the resort was cleared). Also, water was a disgusting yellow green colour and the hot water tank was substantially too small to fill the lovely double soaker tub in the cabin. No soap, coffee, tea or anything in the cabin and about 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper with no extra roll. Otherwise, the cabin was clean and comfortable. Would not go back or recommend this place. Sorry, Luca!
