This was a huge disappointment. We booked 3 nights but didn't stay at all...The bathroom was moldy. No drain cover in the shower. My wife said she got a shock when she touched the shower tap with wet hands. There are boats screaming past 5 meters from the building every minute. I explained that my wife did not want to stay more than 1 night to the owner and my wife explained to the receptionist. The owner called his receptionist on a mobile phone losing his mind. Maybe not realising he is on speaker. He made a comment that people who don't speak Spanish should not come to Panama. I live in Costa Rica and my wife is Spanish speaking so she clearly understood the owners derogatory remarks. At this point we no longer wanted to stay even the one night. I cancelled on bookings.com at the request of the receptionist and it said no charge but the hotel refused to refund the payment we made for one night. The receptionist told me wife that the owner installed cameras in the rooms? The staff were nice but seemed to fear the owner. Who knows but glad to escape. Let's see what bookings.com does about it. After this experience I read some of the owners replies to negative reviews. It's the exact same negative attitude we received. This owner is not interested in what his guests have to say. The only revenue this place can generate is from tourists so treat people with respect
