The hotel was one of the highlights of our visit to Cardiff. Unparalleled views over the Bay Area from our balcony. An easy stroll down to the docks and everything that goes on there and a cheap Uber to the city centre. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was lovely. In fact the only downside was the car parking fee. Really enjoyed this hotel.

Convenient location for both the train station and city centre. Walking distance to the castle and other tourist attractions. I got unlucky with pricing since I was unknowingly there during university graduations, so the price I paid definitely wasn't worth it, but their regular pricing seems fair.

The spa was amazing just a shame the room wasn’t. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and we were woken up to recycling of glass bottles at 5:45am which I didn’t think would be so loud from the 8th floor but it was!
Found it hard work to check in took longer than expected with not much communication as to why it was taking longer to find us a room even though we had already prepaid. Shame the hotel isn’t up to the same amazing standard as the spa.

The staff are very polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and enough. Very clean and pleasant rooms. Central location, within walking distance from the centre. In general, this is hilton, but you should remember that it is not a 5-star one. Recommended

The Park Plaza in Cardiff is ideally listed close to shops, restaurants and attractions, all within walking distance. The service offered at the Park Plaza was excellent, as were the amenities. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious choices each morning, with an additional option of room service. The Park Plaza also offers guests the use of their gym and pool, which were both lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Park Plaza Cardiff.

Very Good
GGlossimarThe hotel is located in the city centre, with a supermarket and Chain fast food restaurants nearby, including 24 hours McDonald’s. The hotel design follows an industrial style, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The restroom locate on the sixth floor has a very quiet and elegant atmosphere. The breakfast provided by the restaurant is delicious. The only downside is that the elevator was out of order during my stay.
GGuest UserEnjoyed the stay. Holiday inn never dissappoints, and I really appreciate their hospitality. Great service, good food , excellent rooms, and great view of the city. Loved the stay , and would recommend anyone travelling to cardiff
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 3 nights, it was very pleasant and clean. Friendly faces and friendly service. The beds are very comfortable and absolutely huge! The only negative I would mention was the fact that on the first night, we were sat in the bar enjoying a drink and the barmaid came out and started to hoover, which obviously made us uncomfortable and was also quite loud, so we proceeded to take our drinks to our room to finish them. Which also meant we didn’t use the bar facility again for the rest of the stay, which was a shame.
LLVBCReally love this hotel and the location right in the centre! I always choose to stay here. Staff are super friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Car park under the hotel (at an extra cost of £18pn) The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel by car, as it sends you down a bus/taxi lane which can be confusing.
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at the Angel hotel staff are polite and friendly, lovely food, hotel rooms are amazing stunning features in the hotel ,right in the centre of Cardiff park right outside the door my favourite hotel to stay at been a few times now love it everyone should definitely book to try it
PPypyppyLocation near the the attractions. Staff are very friendly and nice. The space of the room is big. The bathroom has hand+ hair + shower 3 in 1, but rmb to take cream after that as it’s dry. However, the cleanliness can be improved. There’s hair and dirt on bed and blanket.
GGuest UserThe room was generally clean and tidy although it was very noisy overnight due to its location, the beds were comfortable enough, an extra pillow would have been nice.
Location was great for my trip, but the condition of the bathroom was a bit on the shabby side. The bottom of the bathroom door frame and the actual door were rotting and had been for quite a while
SShan DograFree upgrade was a nice gesture.staffs all helpful. The ambiance also nice. Parking area also sufficient. For driving car trip. Gd choice to take. Will come again next time.
BBethSaidSmileStayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.
GGuest UserWe arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .
