The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast featured local foods and beverages with plenty of options, There’s even a small pool for a cooling dip on warm days. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including fresh linens, a mini-fridge, coffee and tea supplies, and a spacious shower. The hosts were also generous with recommendations for restaurants and activities, both in La Cité and the town. Their recommendations were spot on - some of the best food we ever ate! Overall a great experience, and would happily stay here again!

Easy walk to the villa from the city centre stop of the airport shuttle bus. Well placed to tour the citadel during the day and evening and not too distant from the Canal du Midi. Comfortable, clean rooms with individual designs. Superb views. Private parking in the grounds. Bikes available. Small pool for use in warm weather.

Conveniently located in the old town but was difficult to find. We were offered a garden room outside of the main house. The room was on the small side but was adequate for a one night stay. We had access to the main house where there were snacks and drinks (including wine) available that were a "pay by honesty system". Juliet and Dom were great hosts. Parking is very secure and Juliet and Dom allowed us the privilege of keeping the car park the next morning to visit the castle.

Fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. An exceptionally warm welcome and top-notch service and advice on where to eat. Breakfast was delicious. Beds comfortable. Quiet, clean and family-friendly. Washroom facilities clean and fully functional. Highly recommended. To note, the pool is closed until May.

La Villa-Carcassonne is a little oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Carcassonne and just a ten minute walk from the Cite. The hostess, Juliette, cannot do enough for you. Her breakfasts are homemade and she is more than happy to assist you with restaurant bookings. The rooms are carefully put together and very comfortable with air conditioning! After a day spent sightseeing the pool is a must. The water is so clean and cool. We will definitely be returning again!

Juliette is simply amazing! We could not have asked for more. Great secure free parking and wonderful breakfast included with your room. A short walk to the fortress(10 min) but also 10 minutes from the lower town which has plenty to offer. She speaks great English!

This hotel is a real treasure of Carcassonne! The location is great- just 5 min from the Castle and the old town street with a variety of good restaurants. The host Juliette is very friendly and helpful on every matter- she arranged for us amazing visits of all main sightseeing- Castle, Grotte, boat trip. The rooms in the house are very cozy and comfortable, ideal place to stay with kids. And one more important thing- Juliette's croissants for the breakfast so delicious ❣️ We hope to return soon to this cozy and friendly place 🏰

We had the pleasure of staying here in May 2023. It was a lovely establishment close to the historical city. The view of the ramparts from our balcony was outstanding. Juliette was friendly, helpful and service oriented. We especially loved the restaurant suggestions that were provided. The enclosed parking available to guests was much appreciated.

Visited last September. Piscine only available 2 days of our 7 and had to ask host to remove the cover on the first day. Breakfast ok but the same each day, nothing hot. Host dropped bombshell wanted paid in cash 2 days before leaving, which was inconvenient for us, then complained about the small notes, also tried to charge twice for drinks from fridge. Complained about immigrants but was happy to charge in cash to avoid paying tax. I do speak French. Finally she never warned us there was a techno festival at the castle which continued till early morning for 3 days, couldn’t sleep, horrendous. I don’t understand these great reviews, as I say nice location but not worth the cost. Carcassonne is amazing though.
