Hotel Montsegur is not a super high tech, high end institution. Instead it is a very nicely renovated historical home with a lot of character, comfort, and convenience. The owner is quite hospitable and helpful. His hotel has a great deal of charm and a relaxing feeling to it. It is conveniently located within walking distance to whatever you may need. We will definitely stay at Hotel Montsegur upon our return to Carcassonne, France. (P.S. The croissants were the best !)

Located within walking distance to the medieval city and the old town of Carcassonne. Friendly and accommodating service. Cozy and good breakfast. Free parking in the yard by the hotel. When we checked out from the hotel we were given a bottle of local wine and a bottle of water for the trip. Thoughtful.

An extremely attentive proprietor & a step back back in time, to a hotel who’s room felt a bit like the setting of Disneys Beauty & the Beast! There was furniture with frills, lots of rouching, gold tablecloths & chandeliers everywhere. Fabulous! And beautifully looked after. Spotless to a fault. Free parking on site & a good value all you can eat continental breakfast on offer. All done seemlessly by one sweet man.

Lovely Hotel fantastic location to explore the city with off road parking. A step back in time to the 30s but quite and with AC and large beds very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with decent coffee The owner was very helpful when we asked for help and the building as I said was a s4ep back.

Un hôtel très propre, présentant le charme de l'ancien, dans un bel hôtel particulier. Un hôtelier attentionné, un accueil comme on en trouve plus beaucoup, une literie confortable, un petit déjeuner complet, varié. La cour (très jolie) est un vrai plus. Hôtel très bien situé, entre la Cité et le centre Ville. Les chambres sont calmes. Je recommande !

Hotel di fascino, collocato in un palazzo del XX secolo a pochi passi da Carcassone bassa e ad un paio di km dalla Carcassone storica. Stanze piccolissime ma pulite. Purtroppo l'odore di umido/vecchio ha guastato il romanticismo del luogo

Hotel clásico situado a unos 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad. Cuidado y con todos los servicios necesarios como ascensor, sala de estar y aparcamiento. Incluso libros. Personal muy atento. Solo dos aspectos a mejorar: el wifi (un poco lento) y el desayuno (muy básico). Aún así, vale la pena tenerlo en cuenta para una visita en Carcassonne.

C'est un peu vieillot mais tellement charmant ! Mais surtout le patron s'est décarcassé comme un fou pour me tirer d'embarras et retrouver ce que j'avais perdu. Merci encore à lui... Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni mais manque de pain frais...
