An extremely charming and historic hotel on the doorstep of the spectacular Beartooth highway. The ladies at reception were always very friendly and available for any questions, thank you very much for everything. Snacks and delicious donuts were always available at reception. The location couldn't be better and they have free parking for guests! We really loved our stay in this charming hotel.

Love this historic hotel in The heart of Red Lodge. Our room was spacious, clean and bed extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The history makes this place special and the cleanliness and comfort make it a great place to stay.

If you read no further than this first sentence, I’ll say right now: STAY HERE! … For those of you still reading, I elucidate: I’ve stayed in historic hotels from coast-to-coast; the Pollard is tops. Last month, Travel+Leisure reported Red Lodge being named America’s most charming small town. The Pollard is the literal center of Red Lodge—a grande dame that whisks you back to the turn of the 20th century when you enter the elegant, intimate lobby. You half-expect to see past guests “Buffalo” Bill Cody and “Calamity” Jane Canary. Rooms in The Pollard extend the Old West vibe, yet feature such touches as large-screen HD tv and king beds. (And the gym: spectacular!) Nonetheless, I’d hope to see common amenities such as coffee makers, mini-fridges, and microwaves—at least in some of the suites. But best of all is the staff, from top to bottom, in perpetual motion to make every minute of every guest’s stay a life’s highlight. As to pricing, big bucks in high summer, understandable in Montana’s short tourist season. But go: The Pollard is worth every penny.

Wow this is a really nice hotel and the staff goes above and beyond. We had a corner room on the second floor and all the staff said it was their favorite. The fitness center is located in the basement and I've never seen one better. There is also a restaurant in house that offers breakfast and lunch.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character and detailed touches. The restaurant is delicious. Everyone was super friendly. So convenient to walk out the front door and stroll to all the shops. I would highly recommend you make this a part of your trip. Stay away from the boring chain hotels!

Our stay at the Pollard hotel was fantastic. It is such a cool place and all of the people that worked there were so fantastic. The facilities were great. The food was great. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I've already recommended it to my family.

The Pollard is a nice hotel in a beautiful well preserved older building. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for an away from home stay. Nice restaurant for breakfast on-site with many other good restaurants within walking distance in Red Lodge for dinner.

In part what made this Hotel great was Trisha. Elevator didn't work, we brought our luggage up to our room ourselves but she was thoughtful and insisted on helping us take our luggage up the stairs. Sadly the restaurant wasn't open (great food, never had a bad meal there) but she did have homemade donuts at check in for guests, tv didnt work, she came up to the room (late in the evening) wasnt able to get it to work and offered us a different room. She knew I had wanted coffee Trisha took it upon herself to make a pot and bring it along w 2 cups to the room - very thoughtful of her. The room was clean & spacious ,the bathroom looked newly remodeled has a great shower head and nice pressure, great choice of pillows on the bed hard/soft/thick etc.

A group of us stayed at The Pollard on a multi-state motorcycle ride. We could not have been more pleased. We have all traveled extensively, in the past for business, and now just for pleasure. The restoration of the Hotel is nothing but spectacular. They have retained the historic charm, but have modernized everything, which made our stay just excellent. Everyone we met went out of their way to make sure everything was as it should be. I randomly met the owner, who was amazing. Parking for the motorcycles was in a fenced yard, next to the Police Station! If I could give The Pollard an even higher rating, I would!
