What a wonderful hotel. Great location with fabulous sea views and a lovely terrace with comfortable seating to admire the view. Just a few hundred yards walk down the hill to the station to catch a train to St Ives, a further walk down the hill to the fantastic Carbis Bay beach. Really spacious room with comfortable bed, lots of storage space, table with 2 armchairs and well equipped bathroom. High quality public areas with a comfortable lounge, bar and dining area. Superb food and drink and lovely friendly staff, they were happy to do anything to help. They go out of their way to show you all areas of the hotel on arrival.

Best hotel I have ever been... and I travel for a living! Any room in the house is amazing but if you get the chance, book the celebration room. You will not want to leave. Ever. Food is superb and the wine selection is very smart. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel decor is very chic. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. I wish I had discovered Boskerris sooner. I will most definitely be back!

We recently stayed at this hotel with friends and were very optimistic based on the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several important ways. The bathroom was not clean — there was visible mold around the sink faucet, on the shower grout, and on the shower hose, and the shower stall itself was quite grotty. The heating in the room didn’t work, and although a substitute heater was provided, it emitted a strong burning-dust smell when turned on. I’m highly sensitive to dust and mold due to a lung condition, so this made the stay especially uncomfortable. In addition, the bathrobes provided were extremely small. My partner and I are not large, yet neither of us could close them. When we requested larger sizes, we were told that only the small size was available. After sharing photos with management, they denied that any active mold was present, stating instead that the bathroom was simply “tired” after a busy season. Despite these issues, the room was still charged at the full rate of £300 per night. Overall, we left feeling disappointed, and the experience did not reflect the standard we expected from this property.

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel overlooking Carbis Bay, only 3 minutes by coastal train from St. Ives. Went in October--fewer crowds, weather was cool, sunny. As a woman traveling alone, I seek quality, comfort and safety--and they delivered. The devoted staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Meals were exceptional, you can't beat the view from the bar and terrace (ask Emma to mix you a gin and tonic), and they helped me find ways to explore both locally and beyond. Great walks along the cliff paths, beaches and upland into the forests. St. Ives lives up to its reputation, I had fun exploring the side streets as well as the popular tourist sites. Highly recommend the Boskerris and would absolutely return there.

What a delightful hotel, it was a such a joy to stay here and we really couldn't have asked for more. Great room, lovely lounge/bar area & terrace with fantastic views!! The food is simply heavenly whether it be breakfast, dinner or tea & scones in the afternoon, Everything was cooked to perfection & really was some of the best food we've eaten in a long time! What makes this hotel extra special though are the wonderful staff, who without exception were truly professional & extremely helpful & welcoming, they really do go above & beyond. Don't hesitate to stay here......you certainly won't regret it!!

My sister and I recently stayed in the Boskerris Hotel overlooking Carbis Bay. Such a wonderful experience. Hotel was beautiful with lovely bedrooms. Breakfast had a great selection and dinners were outstanding. The welcome and staff were all so kind and helpful. We will be back. Lou

What a delightful hotel! The atmosphere is wonderful--fantastic views, great local art, and comfortable rooms. The staff, especially Ann, are lovely. Everyone was so charming and accommodating. And not to mention the food. Some of the best meals we had on our 2 week stay in England, from the tastiest fish dishes to the scrumptious breakfasts to the ever-so appreciated homemade cookies in our room! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
