Hotel Mazzocca

We chose this hotel by reading the reviews which were, as never before, true. It is a perfect hotel from all points of view: for its central location, in front of the main entrance to the spa, for the comfort and refinement of the structure, for the excellent cuisine and lastly for the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner Walter, a gentleman who welcomes you as only a true host can do. The hotel offers private parking close to the structure and has been recently renovated with marble floors in the Reception area, in the Hall and in the bar room. The very comfortable Hall also has an external terrace that overlooks a lush valley surrounded by the mountains of the Maiella National Park, while in the bar room there is a piano with various scores available for customers who want to entertain. On a cliff adjacent to the hotel there is a relaxation area facing the street and overlooking the valley, equipped for entertaining and socialising. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean and furnished with air conditioning, TV, telephone, desk and safe, the bathroom has a very spacious shower. The hotel is spread over two other upper floors where there are rooms all equipped with balconies or large terraces and finally the terrace with solarium completes the beauty of this structure. In the part below there is a large dining room and two other adjoining rooms, used for breakfast, furnished with good taste and surrounded by large windows that offer a breathtaking view of the valley and the mountains. The kitchen is another flagship thanks to the skill and wisdom of Walter's wife, assisted by her son Angelo, who alternates with his father and sister Rossella in running the hotel. Do not miss the typical dishes of the Abruzzo culinary tradition, handmade tagliatelle seasoned with a fragrant ragù or ricotta and lemon ravioli, also handmade, a delight even for the most refined palates. Every day, a choice between two first courses and two second courses is offered, as well as the possibility of being able to help yourself to some side dishes from the buffet. The dishes are plentiful and the beautiful waitresses, Luciana and Annalisa, friendly and smiling, are always available to serve you any encore. The breakfast is super abundant with cold cuts, sweets, delicious cakes rigorously prepared by the lady and much more. It is a family-run establishment that makes you feel at home and above all in contact with very friendly and helpful people for any need, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

We stayed for 4 nights in this family-run hotel.a very nice, clean hotel and above all excellent food prepared by the owner, delicious breakfast with homemade cakes and muffins deluctions.the very kind, helpful and competent staff also to show you excursions in the area .a beautiful stay, if we return to Caramanico the Mazzocca hotel will be our base.

Clean rooms and spacious environments. Attentive, courteous and always available owners. Convenient location to all services, the various attractions (trekking / swimming pool) are easily reachable on foot. Super recommended hotel!
