Hotel Club Lacona

Don’t bother staying here if you expect a clean hotel. This is NOT a four star hotel. If they advertised that is was a one or two star hotel then I could understand, but it is not a four star hotel. Negatives: • No WiFi in rooms, only in main entrance • Awful breakfast, plates were dirty and dirty tables, plus none of the tables were cleared and full of dirty dishes • I ended up with a stomach issue for four days after the first breakfast • Walls were falling apart • Old carpet • Stains on the floor in the room • Dirty shower • No place to hang beach towels or swimsuits • Rude staff when I checked in - when I gave my drivers license I was told it isn’t a valid id card. Since when is a drivers license not a valid ID card? • Had to purchase the beach chairs even if it’s with the hotel • The pool was dirty and titles were falling off of the sides • Loud and horrible music outside of the room until late at night • No parking was available Good: • The bar tender and lifeguard were nice • the hotel was walkable to the beach We had booked and paid for four nights at this hotel and left after the first night. It was an awful hotel if you expect it to look like the pictures they have. This hotel is in need of repair.
