They don’t have hot water, only slightly warm. No drain stopper in the bath tub.

Very disappointed. The pool area was dirty, the hallways carpets were stained and the room looked and felt like a hospital room, stale and no amenities in the room.
I lost my money because I left to stay at another location

Poor hotel, great location
This hotel has a great location, a very good pool and a private beach. The staff is attentive, friendly and welcoming. That's the good points. Everything else is bad- the hotel needs investing some money into renovation the rooms as our air conditioning was non-existent and water taps were working so badly that hardly any water was coming out, the furniture is basic and very outdated. The hotel restaurant is terrible - the breakfast and dinner options are of such a poor quality it's unbelievable. The desserts, apparently, are being baked in a prison in Padua and delivered to Elba- they cannot be fresh by definition. It's a 4-star hotel, they should use 4-star chefs, not inmates to cook the food! As a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, we were told at the beach that we are only allowed 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds- really?? We had a double room, so surely everyone should be allowed to have a sunbed! So inconsiderate. The location is so beautiful so do come but do not stay at this hotel, it is stuck somewhere in the 70s.

Above expectations. Outside of building is outdated but room was nice and clean with an amazing view. Pool and beach was awesome. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will come back!

The hotel looks great as you come into the foyer, but the corridors and general upkeep let it down. The walkway to the pool is not welcoming and pool bar very limited for food choices. The water jets in one pool were not working. The outside area is not used to it’s potential and has a feel of faded glamour, and is a bit neglected.

Das Grand Hotel Elba war bestimmt mal ein Grand Hotel - aber es ist (bes. die Zimmer ) sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Das Badezimmer ist zurechtgemacht, mit billigen Plastikhalterungen, wie für behinderte, die vergilbt und schmuddelig/Schrauben rostig + Grünspan an den Armaturen, waren!!! Sehr oberflächlich, schlecht mit billigen Materialien und unpassend versucht, den heruntergekommenen Zustand zu renovieren! Das einzige, was ich loben kann, ist das Restaurant mit Frühstück und Abendessen.

Ne siamo rimasti sorpresi nuova gestione da nuova vita… cominciamo con il direttore Giuseppe persona squisita e gentile e da tutti i suoi collaboratori cominciando da Francesca reception. I miei complimenti a tutti fantastica cucina piatti curati e serviti da camerieri preparati e super disponibili. Che dire ancora pulizia delle camere fantastica Non posso che dire provate per credere mi hanno fatto sentire a casa GRAZIE
