We spent three nights in the cottage at this lovely bed and breakfast on Vancouver Island. The cottage itself is lovely and well equipped. There is a lovely area to sit outside and enjoy the views of the mountains and the birds and wildlife that come to call (we saw hummingbirds, deer and rabbits to name but three). A delicious breakfast was brought to our cottage each morning which you pre-order the evening before. We would definitely recommend Belle Maison Aupres De La Mer if you want to get off the world for a bit. There are a number of good restaurants a short drive away (we went to the Fox and Monocle which was recommended by the B&B). It was very good indeed.

This was by far one of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed in years. The property is beautiful and the place is spotless. The proximity to the ferry was perfect and extremely convenient to Butchart Gardens. A beautiful balcony breakfast was a great way to start every day. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Make this your first choice when visiting Vancouver island.

Wonderful stay. Hosts were so helpful and accommodating. Area was peaceful. Ocean walks down the road. Amazing views and gardens. Relaxing, beautifully appointed cottage and delightful breakfast in morning. Will stay again.

The owners Ross and Ruth Anne were very gracious. The home is beautiful and has spacious grounds and great views. The room was very nice. Very close to the Swartz Bay terminal. Breakfast was made to order. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travellers. They used a service to book through, and we were charged two weeks prior to our stay. The booking is non-refundable.
